She reminds me of kids at school when they are questioned about something they have obviously done but deny doing.I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a lot that the wife doesn’t “know” about. Maybe an apartment or another house, and definitely a nice car somewhere. Maybe even something she’ll swear she was told was owned by one of his friends where they vacation… Sorry, I’m having trouble believing anything she says.
Oh yesterday it was only a few months.Kinda concerning that D just happened to forget she lived in the UK for 3 years. Deary deary me...
I literally just texted a friend (who couldn’t care less) that she reminds of a three year old lying about eating a cookie when they have chocolate all over their face. She reminds me of kids at school when they are questioned about something they have obviously done but deny doing.

Open it now and scroll along it should workI've been missing it. The site didn't resume![]()
She says she met him on ship Jan 1970 and he was in AU for about 3 months, yet we know he & IK left AU together on Feb 15 1970. Something doesn’t add up.
I think it’s a story he gave his wife about are he went everydayCould someone please explain to my pea-brain why the furniture store keeps coming up? Was this part of his cons?

IMO she comes across as evasive at best and in general a very poor liar. (Someone earlier posted some of her various miscues) The prosecutor guy is doing a very good job of helping her with fixing the time frames (so he’ll say your daughter was in year 10 and your son in year 12). But she just doesn’t recall or remember anything. She also claims that they never discussed why he changed his name so often, or which names she recalls and which she does not. Or anything about Marion. Or the inquest. Or why the moved.just asking since I'm not watching-- does she really seem like she's lying? Or could it be beginning dementia? Or if she's near my age (70) the 1990's might as well be a thousand years ago. However, I've never forgotten where I lived. Not defending the lady. I'm sure there are tons and tons of secrets in her life.

late to the party and a bit behind but ...
where is the money ???? - they don't seem to live the high life - 1 car and a house purchased with her inheritance ( although she just had to get that in there didn't she, obviously worried about having the house removed from her, not that stupid)
This makes me so sick he ruined women's lives for what ??
I think some of that was meant to rattle her. But she remains (oddly) detached to all of these revelations, almost like she’s heard them before…Or even another 'wife' she doesn't know about. Or kids to support? Did anyone else wonder about the line of questioning right at the beginning about his other 3 wives and then asking Diane if she knew of other children.... hmm
Absolutely.Me too
Agree, and they are important events she conveniently forgets or has no explanation for. ie uprooting your family and moving away to a new home which had consequences on their family such as her having to drive a much further distance daily to the children’s school. There would be a significant reason but she’s conveniently forgotten why they moved house at that time. I’ve moved a lot and can state exactly why I have moved, when and all the context around it.IMO she comes across as evasive at best and in general a very poor liar. There’s definite confusion which may suggestion memory problems or dementia but surely if she did have dementia that would have been addressed by their lawyerjust asking since I'm not watching-- does she really seem like she's lying?
