Thanks!

This bus is such an eyesore for me!! 😵‍💫

Is it even legal to park a private bus on a public road?

I have never heard about buses used for living in by folks before.

Trash in the yard is spilling even then.

I pity the neighbours.
What a nightmare!!! ☹️

It looks almost presentable outside in April, even if the yard is somewhat overgrown.
It seems as if they deliberately filled it up with rubbish and locked the dogs inside after failing the inspection, which is really vengeful. I just don't understand how they amassed all that rubbish so quickly?!

It's legal only if it is registered. There are a number of people living in buses in caravan parks, but it's rare to see ones of that vintage on the road.

Yep, although I can't get a good angle, it still looks trashed inside the yard. Maybe just not yet spilling over onto the nature strip yet. Who knows what inside looks like.

If the date on Google Earth is correct, they only had a month to turn it into what we saw later on.

Oh, and it looks like he still had the fender flare attached then, plus no big scratch on the side near the rear tail light. And something must have happened to the sun roof after?

It looks like it's unregistered, so it wouldn't be legal to do so in that case.

If it's registered, it depends on the local council bylaws.

All those holes in the doors covered by filler would have made a hell of a racket when they were done. The neighbours must have heard everything that went on in that house, with the big open louvre-style windows at the front of the house. I've lived beside a few Queenslanders, and I could hear the neighbours' kids and dog running through the house on the wooden floors. It wouldn't surprise me if he threatened them also.

If they were being Evicted and had already been given weeks/months to leave maybe the extra trash outside in the house was part of their culling process to eventually relocate and only take what they wanted. 🤷‍♀️

From personal experience, IF they were using crack or meth, the house and yard could have got messy very quickly. MOO

What a terrible shame all of the family dynamics are being aired….. very sad.

  • #214
How could they have not told the grandmother!
I agree.

It seems like the journalist equivalent of ambulance chasing, how the Daily Mail got this story.

I wonder when the Grandmother would have found out otherwise?

It is very unfortunate isn’t it Marg?

I wonder if mental health issues/disability runs in the family as it seems a very dysfunctional, toxic and broken unit.

Although of course a family can be broken without such issues, I’m just speculating based on what we’ve gathered so far.

I am still curious as to why Pheobe was found at only the second location the police searched in such a vast area, when the first location, 9km away, was very similar to the second. How did they home in with such apparent accuracy? To me, this is one of the burningly obvious unanswered questions, along with why they made the comment about 3 people in the car near the airport, without specifying whether they believed that the third was alive. 2 very specific facts deliberately shrouded in vagueness, encouraging speculation.

But I do believe that it is clearly Pheobe in the back in the photo of the car - comparing the image with the photo of TB, who has short hair, the person inm the back really does seem to be a femalw with long dark hair. And looks to be alive - sitting upright, hand apparently up toward face.... JMO, obviously...

Daily Mail has done a great job with this case, but that article... It's just so sad. That poor woman.

I mean, I understand that the reporter would have thought that she was already informed, but still... what are they doing? And to put that video up too?

I'm nosey as hell as far as this case is concerned, but I felt like that was too far.

I am leaning towards the male alleged perpetrator losing his cool with PB during the heated argument ("you always do this etc"), striking out and seriously harming her during the assault. The unthinkable was to silence her and stop her reporting his assault at the other end of her trip, or more immediately to airport authorities.
I don't have any evidence to back this up, but a theory I came up with was perhaps she was injured by the vehicle? Like maybe there was a struggle and she was trying to get out and they accidentally injured her/ran over her and they had to kill her to hide the evidence?

MOO (I think I used that right, first comment here)
