How did someone with fire arms offences have a licence in the first place and how does the current situation not have her struck off for life?

Also far cleaner, probably, unless they're sitting in their own faeces in some sort of dirty protest.

I guess it takes time for paperwork to be filed but what if she was out in the community awaiting trial ? Would there have been a more urgent filing process?

I get it, you have to follow procedures and all that. One would hope in due course she may be struck off the register for good, if found guilty of any of the charges against her.
