It is understood Mr Thompson was the victim of an unrelated robbery at his home last year when men with guns broke in,
assaulted him and stole a collection of watches and his distinctive orange Ford Mustang.

There's CCTV of the robbery. I'd encourage you to watch it. The entire theft (if the video is unedited) is less than 5 seconds from entry to exit. With what appears to be the LV bag, with seemingly all the many other associated items (there was many, for example, I think at least five high end watches still in boxes) hats, loafers. A lot to pack in a bag in a few seconds and make off with while assaulting someone?
The article with the video also only says threatened, not assaulted. It's noted in the video the burglar even turns off the outdoor light as he exits, even after only being inside for a few seconds? And one of them didn't wear gloves. And held the bannister at length and in many places. So if it were AD or RB they mustn't have had their fingerprints on file then? And they would by now, so if they were the burglars, the police would know by now?
The video also shows ST in the street raising his t shirt up over his head. For what purpose? To steal something under it?
The burglars were armed, no dispute there.
I do feel as though you've taken some sort of exception to me. I could add a lot more on the ST topic but frankly one of the reasons I don't is your somewhat rude response to every little thing I say that doesn't fit your personal narrative.
Edit: eight watches, loafers, two hats, a wallet and bag.
