GUILTY Australia - Terence Darrell Kelly, charged w/ abduction of 4 y.o., WA, 16 Oct 2021 #2

I think it's possible that this 'woman' who brushed her hair (based on the info being factual), could have been the tip off. Maybe she coordinated with police to get him out of the house, then the Police pulled the car over, arrested him and then they went and got Cleo.

Just a theory...

While it's possible, I think it highly unlikely that the person coordinated with the police.

"14.12 In describing the relationship between police and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody (RCIADIC) noted:

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the antipathy which so many Aboriginal people have towards police is based not just on historical conduct but upon the contemporary experience of contact with many police officers …
The challenge for police departments is to accept that there is a basis for Aboriginal resentment and suspicion about police conduct and to consider the Aboriginal perspective when devising policing strategies."

Excellent sleuthing JLZ!
Somebody's, not mine! That had been linked a couple of times by others but I only read it today. Then I thought I should provide a link to back up my statement. Also it's informative about the background to TK's life, and people should read it if they haven't already.

Excellent sleuthing JLZ!

Sounds like PW had her hands full with A, 24/7, when he was an adult after many years of drugs and alcohol from an early age. A threatened violence towards PW and himself. I wonder how this affected TK?
And interesting , that she was 'given' TK... I am not sure what that means, whether , for example, a church gave him to her, a govt. org. gave him to her, his family did, .....

Did TK have a job? If so, what were his hours?

This has been discussed. He allegedly worked 12-hour shifts but there has been no evidence to date that he had, or ever had, a job. We just don't know.

The financial aspect struck me too. PW repeatedly saying that she didn't have $4 or $8 for food or transport because 'it wasn't pension day'. And this was an admirable responsible woman. How do you learn to live in a money world when that's your upbringing?

I haven't posted the link about the school friend saying no unusual behaviour at school as of the victoms name in the link

The thing I find most fascinating is a school class mate he was described as normal, he seemed to hav a great upbringing the way the grandma who took him in talked about him gift from God beautifully cury black hair boy she is saying this towards the end of her life so it sounds as if she absolutely loved him, he has been given a goverment housing obviously has a centerlink income, he has been given everything in life, not every child who is adopted turns out to steel other peoples children, he is even dealing pot for extra cash, has a new car, isn't bothering to hav the expense or bother of a licens or rego, everyone seems to like him apart from the person who done the course who said he is a odd ball, he is know to ask for a smoke, the online world started long before grandma's passing, he isn't that ashamed of his dolls happy to show painter and pass it off as his daughters room he could of easily said its for his 6yr old neice to play with when he looks after her, he has every doll that he wanted Bratz didn't come out until he was 16 so it wasn't as if he was a little boy and missed out on the experience of playing with bratz dolls as he was a boy, when Bratz came out he was 16 old enough to legally live on his own, from the way he types his social media its been mentioned that he has great grammar its obvious he had an education sounding like he had studied beyond year 10 by the way his grammar is, he is obviously close to the 6yr old neice and the aunty or who ever the woman he was driving at that time of night, i think he has people in his life, all the people in the shops know who he is, the neighbour says he is a good neighbour and chases off anyone who would try brake in while he is working, from the outside looking in i can't see anything popping out to give this guy an excuse for why he would take someone's child he seems to hav had it better than alot of others hav it
I totally agree with your whole post. As you say, he seems to have had a healthier upbringing than many others who've been abandoned as babies, and are moved from foster home to foster home.

If he was a heavy pot smoker in his teens and there's schizophrenia in his family, symptoms may have appeared unbeknownst to PW, she was tied up being a full time carer for her grandson who had a severe mental illness and was very difficult for her to cope with. A, had a superviser allocated for him to help PW.

The only claim of the 12 hour shift was on his face book, along with his little Italian language claim of his mothers antecedents, .. he, not anyone else, says, he works a 12 hr shift , he gives everything to his family, the 5 kids ( none of whom exist ) that he doesn't mind working that hard ( at a non existent job) because he wants to look after his ( non existent ) family .

At that, all his (non existent) aunties and (non existent) cousins and the (non existent ) friends all join in and say what a wonderful worker he is, . some discuss his hard working efforts among their (non existent ) selves....:confused::confused::confused:

I wasn't sure whether that meant A's disabilities came from D & A exposure before birth and in very early childhood.

I agree, no planning for future, no setting aside money for food, keeps a person in a juvenile state of relying on others. TK had a good home, and was a good kid by what I've read, but not prepared for the adult world. JMO

I realise this has been posted before but I wanted to take another look at it.

A tradie who worked on the house where CS was allegedly held by a kidnapper has told investigators the loner had a room decorated for a little girl, and had claimed he had a young daughter.

The man who was hired to paint the Carnarvon, WA, public housing commission duplex which Terence Darrell Kelly rented was interviewed by police in the days following his arrest and told them he had seen a room adorned with doll-lined shelves.

A door to one of the rooms in the house which can allegedly be locked from the outside is also of particular interest to detectives, reports The Australian, with WA's housing department having a policy to not install locks on internal doors for safety reasons.

Accused kidnapper 'claimed he had a daughter' in doll-filled bedroom in WA | Daily Mail Online

I would like to know when this guy painted the dolls' room.

I wonder when TK was seen at Bunnings

When did TK install the lock on the inside door?

Did he do it himself?

Did TK lie about having a young daughter because he was embarrassed about the dolls?

The painting was probably done before CS arrived.

Does this point to the idea that TK could have planned to abduct a young girl one day or was it purely opportunistic and his fantasy of having a daughter came true?

I honestly think TK just told the tradie he has a daughter because to say ‘Oh yeah that’s my doll room’ would just end up with him becoming a laughing stock.

Ahh, so it could have been FASD.

This whole event is riddled, drowned in ridiculous. From start to finish. The location, the various characters inhabiting the story, the wider implications, geographical, social, fiscal, criminal, psychological, emotional.. every single bit of it is ridiculous, most of it is a first time one off event , that has not happened anywhere before.

The campground is ridiculous, with its blowholes.. the idea that this kind of thing could happen in Canarvon, of all places on gods green earth. ...

That a bloke would dress as a women, and a little girl would think , under conditions of extreme stress and disorientation , that a 'woman' was brushing her hair, is about the least ridiculous part of the whole story.

Ah Troops, every time you post, I see your tag 'it never gets weird enough , for me'.. Hunter S. Thompson.

And wonder if this case is weird enough...............:D:p

IMO they believed the child was dead or they would have been all over that house immediately.

Surely WAPOL had some form of high powered tech (heat, movement and sound) that they could deploy near enough the property, to determine or listen out for whether a suspect/POI house, like the accused's, had someone small and alive inside.

Be interesting if he 's been taking pics on that phone.. perhaps TikToking.... fills in time, ...landscapes of Carnarvon, the blowholes, the campground... .. .. maybe some folks..

I’ve looked too, but no luck. Can definitely remember it though. Wondering if it has been removed from an article or if the link was in one of the now deleted threads.

re: a neighbour claimed to have seen a little girl when he went to ‘drop something off’ at TK’s house

One of the guys on the street said it to a reporter in a video interview. It was pretty much right after TK was arrested. I remember it, too.

This was the headline last week. Has it been mentioned what are the "various offences" he has been charged with?

One of the charges.. I suspect. .. it's merely an opinion, would be driving without a licence.

Another would be, if it was him driving, would be driving with passengers without having a driving licence.

There is another charge, I do believe it is in WA, like most other states, and it's when the Police ask the public for information, and you have that information and you don't give it to the police, you can be charged with withholding information necessary for the investigation by the police. Even if it's you doing the crime.
