GUILTY Australia - Terence Darrell Kelly, charged w/ abduction of 4 y.o., WA, 16 Oct 2021 #2

I agree with this and while being raised with two of your cousins by your grandmother isn’t the worst scenario, I think he would have realised from an early age that he didn’t have a “normal” family. I can empathise with this to an extent.

I still believe that he knew right from wrong though and he would definitely understand that kidnapping a child is very wrong so I don’t have any empathy for him in that regard. He saw the missing persons posters and watched the heartbroken parents plead for their daughter’s return but chose to continue holding her captive.
This is where he could have owned up and slightly redeemed himself but no, he chose to be evil at that point. JMO

TK having been given up/taken away from by his bio mother at 2yo, may have had abandonment issues as a result even though his foster carer/"grandmother" seems to have been a loving person who could have given him unconditional love. Plus he had her bio grandsons/brothers/cousins to play with when young. Once he lost this family structure in 2020, these abandonment issues could have resurfaced and he went haywire after that.

i hope his house isnt vandalised or robbed while hes in prison, not sure if his grandmother owned it outright or if he was paying rent?
wondering if he has no close family who would pack up and mind his belongings?
this whole case is so sad, for everyone

IMO the house he lived in was rented so if he is not there to pay rent, I suspect that they would find another tenant.

Yes TK's family connection had ended with the death of his grandmother only a year or so ago.

IMO TK is naive and in grief. Perhaps CS could not go back to sleep after she had the drink of water and somehow got out of the tent and was wandering around when TK found her and asked her if she wanted to see his dolls. I think he simply wanted a daughter.

I agree. This does not make his crime any less heinous. People cannot steal other people's children. It is not like he didn't know she was missing by her family.

Hopefully, this entire situation won't turn into a "pity party" for TK. That would be a huge miscarriage of justice.

No he obviously broke the law but it is interesting for me to try to understand what led up to this.

I think we have to focus on the fact CS was taken from her family and locked in for 18 days

so wrong

and he did know it albeit he has massive issues himself

Pretty sure someone is going to pack up those dolls, ....

LE was seen on video taking the dolls away. Will they store them for him if he does not return to his house for a while?

(snipped)
They weren't his biological family at all according to the article paraphrased by DrSleuth. Not his grandmother, not his cousins.

Correct, just using those terms for clarity.

I think he undid the zipper to the tent, due to the repeated height of it that has been mentioned many times.

Mobile phone seized at abduction house as unanswered questions remain
Police have seized a mobile phone and other items from TKs house, as they comb through evidence of what happened to CS during her 18 days of being held captive.

Frankly, I don't give a damn, to put it bluntly.

I pity the officer that gets tasked with documenting the contents of his phone and internet history. I get a migraine just trying to make sense of his FB accounts.

It’ll be a real shame if he doesn’t know the whereabouts of his dolls…

Yes until today, I have always thought that TK took CS away in her sleeping bag and perhaps she did not wake up again until in his car or even at his home? He could have then pacified her by showing his dolls to her.

I just find it difficult to believe that it was an opportunistic crime. TK goes to their tent hoping to find something to steal, opens up the zip and steals a little girl to be his daughter instead???

The man wrongly identified as the alleged kidnapper was wrongly shamed on social media as online ‘sleuths’ confused him for TK. He faced death and spearing threats in the wake of the claims. He reported it to his local police station in Karratha for help in getting the false social media posts shut down.

Later that night, he was at the hospital with his baby daughter when he became aware that Channel 7 had widely circulated his image online, wrongly identifying him as the suspect.

'I got upset and went back into the police station. I ended up getting more upset and I had a panic attack in the police station'. He was so traumatised following the panic attack that he had to be hospitalised and needed medical treatment to calm him down.

At some stage he was taken into protective custody for his own safety after the threats.

'What they did was go straight on Facebook. The first person they seen got through my photos and uploaded on social media, and spread it around, not just in Australia, this is worldwide,' he said.

The blunder has also caused deep distress and grief for his partner and mother.

He’s planning to sue Channel 7 as he recalled the deep distress the shocking mistake has caused.

Man wrongly accused of the abduction

Yes, perhaps he had seen her outside the tent awhile earlier, hence had formed the idea to abduct her at that point.

If he saw her earlier, that would have been between 6.30 and 8pm. If CS was abducted about 3am that is a long wait for him. Also he seems to have been nocturnal so doubt he would have been there between those times unless he followed them there (which is my actual theory but not confirmed by LE).

It's not hard to take care of a 4 year old really, when they are confined. Food, water, toys, sleep. 4 year olds aren't super dependant like a baby.

I noticed in TK's photos that he also had 'barbie heads' - where you do their hair and they are a life-size head.
It is my opinion that he was involved in grooming (not in the pedophilic sense, in the physical grooming sense) with the child.
It is also evident without question that her hair is dyed a darker shade. I don't accept that it's just the lighting because there's an image of her by the press post charges and she is in broad sunlight and her hair is darker without doubt.
Additionally, in order to go from a yellow blonde to a warm brown, you need to deposit red or it goes green or an ashy brown - given a natural trajectory of her hair darkening, it would not suddenly get a warm red hue, it would be a mousy ash brown. No lighting would make it look red, because yellow blonde hair has no red in it, it is a blue base. It is not lighting. It has definitely been coloured, IMO.
Extremely sad. But, at the same time if the child was emotionally traumatized then the child would need help with upkeep. So I cannot see this child doing her own upkeep. Someone older had to do it for her. The child is away from the only life she knows that in itself has to be traumatic along with anything else.

He appears to be nocturnal.
Or insomniac.
