GUILTY Australia - Terence Darrell Kelly, charged w/ abduction of 4 y.o., WA, 16 Oct 2021 #2

That is one thing I wanted to ask the doll collector contingent... What happens when one becomes bored with a doll?. or.. the doll, inert though it is, quite blameless, you suddenly 'take against it'.. No body has mentioned this aspect.. Does one keep every darn doll one ever bought, or was given?? .

And how are dolls... . what would be the word here, .. recycled? reborn?? re jected? returned..??

They probably get moved to a lower shelf or traded.
From what I gathered a lot of the appeal is the dolls rarity. The rarest dolls fetch the highest prices and owning the rare dolls was basically a bragging right. As TK just landed the rarest doll of all I don’t think she was going to be put on a low shelf for a while.

Police said that he had atleast been to the blowholes on one occasion to sell weed to backpackers, I wonder how he would of set up that meeting or if there is a permanent resident or semi permitted resident at the blowholes who would of initiated a meeting with them backpackers, basically someone who acts as a middle man between TK and the weed customers at the blowholes, maby that someone called him out for a delivery that night

"the campsite at least once to deliver cannabis for the personal use of backpackers" i haven't posted the link due to other links i hav posted being deleted

From a collector’s Point of view. You are always in search of the unattainable. He’s got his prize. He’s going to show it off. It’s not somewhere I wanted to go TBH but if I distance myself as a collector, that would be my reward. Recognition

But he didn't discard his other dolls, so why would he discard his real life doll? I definitely do not think TK would have ended CS' life.

I don’t think that he would have wanted to do that either, however at some stage I’m worried that he might have needed an exit strategy from his ridiculous plan and his choices would have been limited.
Let her go and risk her describing where she’d been or keep her until she’s an adult? Neither are a good idea so he could have felt like he had no options. We need to remember that we aren’t talking about a rational person unfortunately.

LE was seen on video taking the dolls away. Will they store them for him if he does not return to his house for a while?
If it turns out that he bought the dolls using money from illegal funds, like from stealing, robbing or selling weed, might LE take those dolls away?

They do that in the US if the suspect is arrested with stolen cash/goods they can seize the car they were driving if it was bought with illegals funds, and any cash left around that was illegally gained.

Yes a rare chance but it could have been possible.

This is what I was implying that he might have done within hours of taking her. Not posting her to the dark web but letting at least 1 online friend see what he’d attained. If by chance that 1 friend spread the word amongst their circle that would explain his sudden influx of friend requests on the morning of Oct 16th. All of this would also explain his cryptic FB post at 6:07am of that morning.

Maybe attention seeking. He sure got that. The whole world knows about him now.

I don't think he wanted to harm her. But I agree with you that there would have been a crisis point where he would have been trapped by the situation. What were his options?

And she would have been increasingly upset and become more difficult to keep quiet and hidden ---then what? We saw how he was quick to lose his temper and composure a few times already. What was he going to do if she began screaming 'I HATE YOU, I WANT MY MUMMY, HHEEELLLPPPPP!!!!!!'

But she is so young, she would not have remembered his address so I would have hoped he would have dropped her off near the police station and told her to go in there to ask for her mummy.

Yes if LE can prove that, TK will not get his dolls back.

Exactly. I really wish you didn’t add that last sentence though, it sent shivers up my spine!

Thank you for articulating this. This is exactly what I think happened. The FB post that he made just hours after the abduction made me feel ill. All I could think was "pedo ring."

I think it is an assumption that TK had an influx of friend requests at that time of the day.

If he had driven to the police station and dropped her off, then driven away----how long before they came after him? Not long, most likely. They'd have cctv of his vehicle and they'd hunt him down in no time.

I don't think it would have been easy to find a way to release her without it revealing who he was.

Yes but it’s a fair assumption based off his FB post made at 6:07am on Oct 16, which read;

Why I'm getting friends request from people I don't know if you know who I am just message me so I can be sure because and please don't add me if as something random and don't add me because you know my family or mates
doesn't mean we're mates just that, I can't accept friends requests from strangers just I live a private life and I respect those who're on my friends list to ensure their privacy is
respected too because I'm getting annoyed with strange friends request please message me I check my inbox every morning and parts of the day and it's more convenient for me and I may or I may not accept requests, and us adults
have to be careful online too.

I haven't collected dolls as an adult. But from what I remember as a child, the disliked doll becomes a scapegoat and gets slapped a lot. That doesn't mean one is willing to lose it.

But is he is as crazy as some of us think he is, he may not have thought it through if she was crying all the time, for example.

It’s more the description of her captor that worried me.

I only ever had one doll. I didn't really like dolls as I was a tomboy so I grew out of dolls quite early and gave Betty a funeral.
