I wonder what happened to the doll collection when he whent to jail, like someone else must of known about them and packed them up, im now assuming that the dolls in the photos may of been from the C Street house, I wonder what happens to your belongings if you live in government housing and go to jail im assuming you won't be able to keep it as you will no longer hav centerlink payments to pay your rent, I wonder if the painter that saw the collection was at the C Street property
This is just one of the issues someone who is imprisoned has to deal with.

A solicitor will often cite the loss of their clients public housing property as the main argument for them not going to gaol as the tumult that often follows the loss of a place they may have waited ten years to be allocated bears heavily on their rehabilitation.

There are of course programs in place that help people find accommodation upon their release from prison but yes, someone may lose their possessions in the interim or be placed in a location far from family etc

You can probably imagine how little support some people have prior to going to gaol. Occasionally a prisoner may retain his or her public housing dwelling but this is usually only when they've received a short term, 3-6 months for example and for an offence deemed acceptable when considering their affect on the surrounding tenants.

A CSO will absolutely not be returned to a public housing property situated amongst those that families occupy, for example.

Makeup is a form of magic imo.

I'm neither here nor there with the idea of TK cross-dressing but I do know that drag, done right, is absolutely amazing in its transformative qualities.

I've known a brickie that was built like a bull, tanned with surfer-sunned blonde hair and if you looked very close at his fingernails, he could be seen to have traces of last night's nail polish beneath the dirt, dust and plaster he gathered during the day...

I was about 18 around the time this was happening and I had to have the hint dropped before I thought to Owl-Eye him.

I never would have thought...

Well, it seems as though media spun that story about the victim saying a female helped look after him, and that LE discounts that theory anyways. At least, that is what I gather. So its a mute point anyways, for now at least.

Actually, I find all this abductor's information about him very unsettling to follow, so will check back in when charges are laid. My only concern is justice for the victim and her family for what they went through, and that they get all the support they need.

I agree it is unsettling, I'm actually quite disturbed and concede with what others have remarked - there is a murky depth to TKs life. IMO

The WT case is throwing a pall of sadness over today, and illustrates that CS’s case is truly an anomaly :-( Hence the gratitude for WA police.

Also just a btw, this article implies CS was a preschooler.

“Also proudly displayed is a craft mural decorated with colourful cut-outs of children’s hands. On each traced shape is a little note written by students from Carnarvon Christian School’s pre-primary class.”

I think different states refer to prep/preschool/kindergarten differently in some instances? In NSW I know that prep can start at age 4 in a private school, but I think it's called Kindergarten in Victoria? Not sure about WA.

This information was given by the duplex neighbour in the printed media (not TV) freely saying he often used to see TK in his backyard at night and so on. Members here said a silver car was seen in his property. I am not searching for info on him. It was all in the media.

However, his name was not given so I wondered if anyone could find the link. It is difficult to search for that link now.

Someone asked if he was married, though.
I mean, can you imagine if your neighbour committed a crime and people on here were searching for you or your husbands info? It's unnerving.

Hopefully more of these details will come to light if the case goes to trial and we get to read about it.

When I was a child living in the S.A desert with my family, Kindergarten, or the school placement preceding year 1, was called 'reception'.

Preschool was before entering the primary school system and was called 'Kindergarten' or Kindy.

Confused yet?

A juice poppa was a Fruit Box, I'm sure there were many other discrepancies but for now that's all I can recall.:)

Yes, I think it's quite different state by state and a little confusing.

Daycare in NSW can sometimes be referred to as preschool, but it isn't mandatory to attend and is more like babysitting than school.
Kindergarten in NSW is the year prior to grade 1.
Prep can be from age 4 in a private school (where they wear a school uniform, but it's pre-kindergarten).

I know Victoria is different, so am assuming WA probably is too!

I attended kindergarten in NSW, then moved to S.A and was in Reception. I was in year 1-4 then moved back to NSW being in year 4 - it was an adjustment for sure, especially the initial move interstate but luckily I handled it well.

Interested to hear what other states and territories call the preschool and school levels?

That sounds healthy. This case has really affected me emotionally - in particular, seeing him following her mother on social media really rattled me. Whether it was prior or afterwards, it's creepy nonetheless.
People put so much information about their lives on social media and it's unnerving to think who may be watching. Predators didn't have such access to peoples lives prior to social media. It's unsettling in the extreme.

MOO
He will plead guilty to avoid trial
Might get a lighter sentence to spare family further trauma. Then we have to wait for the book. "My Name is ..." written by journalist.

That's quite insightful.

I had a great Aunty who had what I now view as an obsession with porcelain dolls, making and displaying them in her home.

She was a classy lady, worked as a bank teller, married a white collar miner and had a lovely home.

She had been in an orphanage with her brother and sister until they ran away when she was about 5 or 6.

I never stopped to think about why she made those dolls - all remarkable to behold as she was exceptionally skilled at her craft. There were little train driver boys with overalls and glasses on, Victorian era dolls with exquisite dresses, cute toddler dolls with pigtails - honestly just about every type of little person you could think up, made into a masterpiece of a doll.

It is this case with TK and CS that has made me realise something.

My Aunt must of seen and experienced the most horrendous things at that orphanage.
So many neglected, abused, dirty, crying, poor little boys and girls that had been traumatising to witness and who knows what was done to her by the nuns.

My Aunt must have felt like she had to recreate the children she saw at the orphanage, make them pretty, perfect and surround herself with them so that every single day she could outweigh the dark memories with something nice.

Thank you. I like your comparison. Its very telling. I think you are correct.

Not long now until TK appears in Court. Set down for Monday 6th December, from Carnarvon Courthouse via video conference to Casuarina (the jail that he was taken to after his arrest). The 2 Criminal offences are still undisclosed. It is to be heard in the Magistrates Court, which made me curious about cases that are heard in such a Court......

Magistrates Court of Western Australia
Criminal Matters
The Magistrates Court deals with adults, aged 18 or over, required to appear in court after being charged with a criminal offence.
Minor criminal offences, known as 'simple offences', are dealt with in the Magistrates Court. More serious offences, known as 'indictable offences', begin in the Magistrates Court. While some of these serious offences (known as 'either way' offences) may be dealt with in the Magistrates Court, the most serious offences must be sent on to be heard in the District or Supreme courts.

I was expecting more charges to have been laid by now

People, don’t post your comings and goings public on SM and don’t put your children out there in public.

I see parents publicly put photos of their children’s first day of school in their school uniform.
THINK! Someone, everyone sees their name, face and the school they attend.
There’s weirdos who would put that photo of a child in a school uniform on the dark web for other weirdos to goggle over.

How many times do you see grandparents who put their grandchildren up as their main photo on FB?
I’m flabbergasted!
Just keep your children out of public SM. It’s world wide forever and it’s not your photo any longer.
imo.

One of my nieces posts on Instagram and FB every day with her baby daughter. However, she puts sunglasses on her baby or adds hearts to cover her face. She also only uses her first and middle names as her username. So there's little to identify either of them. However, I have still worried about this and the need for a person to post on SM every day.
