Ah OK, you mean murdered before the Wangetti trip that afternoon. Her car was seen on the way but not necessarily Toyah, so she might have already been dead. But . . . to move her from the car park to the crime scene, 800m in daylight, surely not?
I do not think that it is likely either, but stranger things have happened.

My first post you quote is not related to the second one. The second one refers to someone else’s suggestions that it’s possible for a holiday-maker to commit such a crime to which I responded that it wasn’t really... to which they referred to the Ripper travelling to England, to which I said ‘ but he wasn’t on holidays at the beach’
Thank you. The Ripper reference went right by me at the time.

How are you so sure about that?
The scenario given was that someone could have gotten off a tourist bus for a walk on Wangetti, committed the murder and then back in a tourist bus. Fanciful, in my opinion for so many obvious reasons - the extreme violence, the location and time, the fact that the police are clearly searching for a vehicle, the fact that the person would need to have their own transport to get to lake placid, the fact that everyone always wants it to be an out-of-towner and it nearly always isn’t etc

JLZ of course it went over your head because The Ripper wasn’t mentioned by the original poster....me.

Referring back to the bf's dog being reported missing by him up at spring creek near pd - if you go far enough up the creek its a mobile phone black spot. If you think about that in relation to alibi for the entire arvo and phone off, that would work neatly.

Your a local - you've implied the BF's alibi isn't all it's cracked up to be - you stated that people on holidays don't murder strangers on the beach (implying that it's a local) -you specifically said 'he' wasn't on holidays, pretending your talking about Jack the Ripper - but I don't think you are.

Just what are you trying to say?

I think that you are reading more into it than it deserves.

I am not pretending anything - I assumed your reference was to the ripper and my comment was about the ripper. There is absolutely no double meaning in anything I’ve said on here. Other people on here have spoken about the missing dog and the question of whether that is just a totally legit thing that happened or not.... nothing covert I’m implying here.

What's your best guess as to when the police will determine which car is carrying the perpetrator?
I don't know how many detectives are still working the case but I'm hoping this monster is locked up by Friday (tomorrow 30th).

So how about that weather today? ..... moving on and forward :)

I also find it unlikely that she would have been murdered prior to the beach. It is not impossible but very difficult, I think this was discussed a bit in the previous thread. However, given the individuals knowledge of the area I do not believe him to be a tourist, I believe him to be a local.

I watched a few videos that Toyah had placed online, she seemed like such a funny, kind hearted and bubbly young woman! so tragic, I want to see this person charged!

Wow Myserty that would be a happy day.
The guy might be lawyered up and untouchable by the cops at the moment OR the cops need everything 100% drum tight before the cuffs go on.
In some cases everyone knows who did it, including MSM but it's all kept quiet.
If the perp was known to Toyah & family I can understand why the parents have asked for privacy and not publicly fighting for their daughters justice.
If the perp was a stranger then I don't understand why the parents are lying low and not fighting for justice UNLESS it is known who he/she is.
IMO
Please don't disrespect other's thoughts and sleuthing as 'fanciful'.

I have to think that they have a pretty good idea of who it was but need the last few pieces of evidence which is sometimes the most difficult find.

I think you're right ariona as if she was murdered elsewhere then it would be a fluke that her parents when to the beach where she was found.

Not if she told them that she was going there.
