There’s so many people in India I’m just hoping they can find him. I’m sure if he wanted to hide he could because he’s had enough warning. Did you notice his family acting snakey.

Given the treatment of women in many areas of India, I doubt this will rank high on the priority list. I imagine they would act quickly if there are financial/political reasons, and I am not sure what the climate is like between Aus and India currently.

the detective interviewed said the ferocity of the attack and mutilation, in broad daylight, was an indication possibly of a personal attack, and also the fact her dog was tied up and not killed seemed out of place?
i didnt know she was also mutilated, this man is a monster

They must be quite certain as they have met the requirements for an extradition, (granted I am not sure what they are) you can read info about it here Extradition

It would be a shame if they have focused on the wrong person, but the fact he left town so quickly looks pretty suspect on his part IMO.

A 16-year-old has been arrested after a woman was allegedly stabbed multiple times while sunbaking on a popular Queensland beach.

The 23-year-old was lying on the sand at Blacks Beach in Mackay just after noon on Monday when she was allegedly attacked.

Police will allege she was confronted by an unknown man who used a knife to stab her multiple times in the neck and body.

"That person is still living his life, she had many years left."
Now Ms Gardiner is living in her daughter's shadow.
Happy reminders of the 24-year-old are spread across the walls of her home - it's the only way she can cope.

But the pain of what happened on October 21, 2018, never goes away.
"Having the knock on the door from my son that night saying she was missing, never leaves either, I still dream about that," she said.

An extradition order has been issued for a person of interest - Innisfail nurse Rajwinder Singh.
The father was flagged by Queensland police as a potential suspect back in 2018, travelling to India shortly after Toyah's body was found.
While Singh is speculated to be living near the Pakistani border, 9News can reveal the international manhunt has hit a standstill.

Extradition hearing date set but authorities yet to locate person of interest in Toyah Cordingley's murder

Four years after a young woman was brutally murdered on a Far North Queensland beach, her family still waits for justice.

The family of a young woman say they still hope her killer will be brought to justice four years after her body was found on a beach in Far North Queensland.

Australian authorities made a request to extradite person of interest Rajwinder Singh from India, where he is believed to be living, in March 2021.

The ABC understands the next Indian extradition court proceedings have been listed for November 5, although the matter will be postponed if he isn't located.

Family spokesman Wayne 'Prong' Trimble said the shocking crime continued to take a toll on Ms Cordingley's family and the wider community.

But he said they remained hopeful justice would be served.

"People are flabbergasted at how long things have taken, and we really haven't had much progress at all," Mr Trimble said

Depending on what Matrix you use, the average cost of living and Salary in India compared to Australia is around 1/5th.

This equates to a $5M reward for an Indian person to give him up!!
