A clip of the cherry picker up close to the balcony, anyone? I can't find it. But I think I saw a brown/red mark on the paint. Or a recent close up of the outside of that balcony.... I might be wrong though. ??

I've been flowing this case on MSM but only just got to the thread here... I'm sure I'm about to learn more but TBH I was surprised at the arrest. I mean, he seemed sketchy as, but I thought maybe it was an accident and he freaked, but this seems like so much more now! I wonder what the police have uncovered? There's so much more to know.

Now to get reading and up to speed!

What on earth was going down that there was this huge fight and then a fatal plunge when they'd only hooked up that night for the first time? What was going on in that apartment??

Could T have been mucking around with the girl sitting on the railing with him holding her, daring he could drop her back (squeal) silence....he holds her perhaps they laugh...But T persists 2 more times mucking around for thrills ....Naah...He has been charged with murder so there must be more ....... What a terrible horror for her

Rise and fall of flawed hermit Gable Tostee caught in fatal web of sex hook-ups

August 16, 2014 12:00AM

THEY stagger through the door of the modern high-rise apartment, the club music still ringing in their ears.

They’re drunk on booze and dance moves. He guides her into the living room, past the kitchen, the white leather couch, the modern dining setting, the art on the walls.

They’re checked by two cameras on the way through. The first kicked in when the front door swung open, following their progress into the unit.

The second follows them through the living area.

Perhaps they go out onto the balcony for a drink. Sometimes he does that with the girls he brings home.

I don't think that police believe this was some kind of horsing around or sex act gone wrong. It is a murder charge.

There was loud arguing before the three screams .. the second scream was described as filled with fear.

"There was a disturbance in the unit, there were raised voices."

"There was fear in her second scream that made me feel sick and frightened for her," Grooby said. "In the silence that followed, I prayed that someone had come to her rescue. When the third scream came, I really can't explain how I felt."

Other neighbours reported hearing several screams and what sounded like an argument.

But life hadn’t turned out quite the way he’d expected. What had changed, one forum user asked, to make him go from a life of solitude to bringing home a different girl each night?

"Not much except for my circumstances,’’ he replied.

"This is one of the things that gets me down. I imagined myself being different but I’m not sure I really am.’’

For years he lived like this, tucked away at his computer.

Warriena Tagpuno Wright murder: Does Tinder leave you exposed?

August 15, 2014

It is not the first time dating applications have been linked to police investigations.

Earlier this year in Sydney, a 22-year old man was charged with robbing two men at knifepoint on two separate occasions.

He is alleged to have used another social media dating app to lure them to late night rendezvous.

And in the United States, a 22-year-old man from Louisiana was arrested last month and charged with raping a woman he met via Tinder.

The pair had arranged to meet at her apartment. He is accused of becoming angry when she rejected his sexual advances, slapping her across the face, and sexually assaulting her.

NSW Police Force’s Strath Gordon told the News Corp Australia that phone-based apps were increasingly becoming “challenging for law enforcement”.

It looks like a caterpillar attack to me :skip:

And someone else wondered if those are scars on his forehead? (on his left)

He was told by a judge in an early trial (for forgery) that he was extremely intelligent, intellectually gifted, and that he should use that intelligence for a good purpose.

Maybe then he has Aspergers its in the autism spectrum, they are generally extremely intelligent.

I have 2 sons on the autism spectrum...1 is on the lower end with below average intelligence and serious social interaction issues and the other is on the opposite end, highly intelligent and can be very cunning and manipulative, but also can be everyone's best friend depending on the situation and or his mood

Do we know if GT has an official diagnosis?

I would imagine he will be getting evaluated by a psych if his lawyers are planning to use autism in his defence?
