I'm glad you've brought that up. Seems even more illogical that Warriena would try to climb to the balcony below. JMO

Seems even more unlikely that she ended up with her back against that balcony wall, with her feet facing out, all her on her own, too.

Let's remember, that's what the witness SAW, in the moment before she looked away to her flatmates... when she looked back, Warriena was "twisting" around, and "climbing" the 'right' way round to get a grip on the ledge (too low to be gripping the rail....?).

But before that, W was hanging, feet out, back against the wall. What was she holding onto then?

edit: all y'all inb4 me! <3

Did we ever find out how many of Warriena's handprints were on the balcony? I could imagine with her being three times over the limit she would have had to use a bit of effort to lift herself up over the balcony and then to hang on and try to lower herself. I'm thinking there would be handprints everywhere!

Sgt O'Shea said he searched for fingerprints on the balcony area, the balustrade

Sgt O'Shea confirmed fingerprints belonging to Warriena were found on the balcony, including a palm print on the railing.

The jury is being shown a close up photograph of the balcony railing, covered in fingerprint dust.

Warriena's fingerprints were also found on beer bottles at the apartment. Also a palm print on the dining table

I wonder if they dusted the ledge outside the railing?

In regards to the object. I'm agreeing with those that say it's part of a telescope. Why did he feel the need to get rid of it? I was thinking he put it in her rectum, which could explain her needing to go to the toilet int he recording, perhaps the feeling was similar to receiving a suppository. In this case he could've got rid of it because it had her blood on it or perhaps she didn't consent and before things escalated he thought she might press charges for rape. Then after she fell he still thought he needed to get rid of it. This theory would only be before things escalated as she was wearing her jeans when she fell.

A palm print on the railing, indicating which side of the balcony Rrie was on?

Makes it even more likely the neighbour below could NOT see if anyone was standing on the balcony. I'm starting to believe GT placed Warriena on the railing and she turned herself around and gripped the ledge. There's no way a person could swing their way in to the balcony area below.

THIS! :takeabow: :drama:
“I think she thought it was like a joke or something but she kept like beating me up,” Totee was heard telling his father.

“I forced her off onto the balcony and I think she might have jumped off.

“Like a million cops around my building, I’m f***** I don’t know what to do,” Tostee continued.

EDIT: You're right Kitsune, maybe Warriena wanted to go across?

I wonder if they dusted the ledge outside the railing?

I am just trying to work out why the hell the crown didn't go with he pushed her or put her over the railing, there has to be a reason why.

I hope everyone understands there is a ledge on the outer-side of the balcony railing, wide enough for one to stand on or sit on or use to lower yourself down. Its not just a balcony railing.

It is possible that WW was sitting on the ledge on the outer-side of the balcony railing...Makes sense then why a neighbour saw her feet pointing outwards, away from the building....Good pickup JD....That certainly throws a different light on the situation....Every time I look at that high-rise building, I feel sick in the stomach....Also, how embarrassing & humiliating it must be for WW's mum & sister to have to listen to that horrible tape, for all the world to hear....MOO...:please:

Ms Ellis said she moved to edge, looked up, saw a girl trying to climb over the balcony.

Ms Ellis said the girl was in a rush, quickly trying to get over balcony, was doing it without much thought I suppose

Ms Ellis said she looked at Ryan to do something, when she looked back, she was hanging.

Ms Ellis said she could see the girl's feet and legs. Nothing beyond that

I think much of what the Crown wanted to bring to court was disallowed by the Judge during legal arguments.

Nother quick observation -- the "indent" of each balcony would probably prevent anyone who wasn't really tall from being able to peer up and see more then "the bottom of her feet" which is what Ellis saw - she describes herself as "too short" to see more than that.

She is the ONLY one who saw W higher up, afaik?

Mr Casey said they heard a girl's voice. Sounded like "help". He went outside, looked up, saw a girl on the outside of the balcony

Mr Casey says when he first saw her, it looked as though she had secured her feet on concrete ledge. "Get back inside," he told her.

Tostee is heard in a phone call with his father shortly after Ms Wright fell to her death. In the recording Tostee is heard saying: “We might have a bit of a situation”.

GT's use of 'we', he's including his dad in his situation/problem?!!! Gives an insight into the man and his relationship with parent/s. Nothing groundbreaking, making observations while we wait.

Also, apparently a person lying tends to use the word 'we'.

When you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.
But pigs are so cute. they don't deserve to be compared...what about the old saying, 'you can't polish a turd' .😊

Thankyou. I have tested this on myself numerous times and i guarentee you she could have had her airway restricted without leaving any signs of trauma to the area. Guaranteed he strangled her.

I can only suppose because they hadn't figured that out for themselves.
