well I have to say the most interesting part of the article for me was William lashing out physically at the FFC.
As I suspected...all that wasn't said ...said a lot.
Focusing on how wonderful the relationship william and MFC had.
Screams issues...big ones.

So Foster Grandmother is saying he MFC would have been gone by 8:00 because he had to go to chemist to get tablets. I thought chemists open later than 8.00. She then misquotes saying 3 of us had breakfast at 8:00 - which she corrected to 4 to say that it didn't include MFC because he had left.

This doesn't sound right to me.
It doesn't really fit with other timeline information that we have heard of, in the case, either .....

I’ve only ever deleted messages from ex boyfriends I wanted to scrub from my memory, other than that, never. That they were from his wife and last person to see WT right at that time is quite unusual, and makes you wonder. More to come on all this I’m sure, it seems every week media is able to say more of what they know (finally).
I think its a problem because there are messages BEFORE and after. which isnt how automatic deletion of old texts works.

That's the first time I have seen the Foster Grandmother in a video.
I wonder if this was the video statement that was played at the inquest? Or a part of it???

One good thing about the video being released is that at least there is more than "one brief statement" from FGM......

They didn’t really look at William’s foster grandmother. She settled the sale of the house about six months after William disappeared and she died in March. There is no suggestion that she was involved, but it seems that she only ever gave one brief formal statement to police.

Regarding phone messages, the telco would have both billing information and the metatdata associated with the messages, as long as they were retaining it for a considerable period. Now retention is mandatory for 2 years.

As of today [13 April 2017], every major Australian telco and internet service provider is required to capture and store customer's "metadata" for a minimum of two years under the Australian Federal Government's mandatory data scheme.

What is being stored?

Under the scheme, your telco is required to store the following information or "metadata".

  • Your name, address, and billing information
  • Your phone number or email, and the phone number or email of the person you're communicating with
  • The time, date and duration of a communication
  • Your IP address
  • The location of the communication equipment you use; for example, the closest cell tower
  • The type of communication; phone call, text, or email
  • Bandwidth usage such as the amount of data uploaded and downloaded

(PS: Not a fan of this new format. IMO it wasn't broken so why 'fix' it?)

The Grandmother said she didn't know who was sleeping in which bed? - one has a pink blanket and the other looks blue bedding. It's weird how she explains it - 2 would have been in here - like was she even there? And she says she got up late - they had breakfast at 8.00 so is late 7.00?

thanks for the direct link jbowie.

I don't like the grandmother saying and he was 'full of life' and thats the last time I seen him as he went around the corner.
It sends my hinky metre off the charts.

She also accidently says the 3 of us having brekkie...I know and appreciate it is very easy to mispeak but at that critical moment.....she could have also been unconsciously remembering a fact.

the page of concerning issues here is becoming a book.

There's another bedroom with an ensuite up by the kitchen, not up that corridor at all, so she wouldn't necessarily know where they went after they left the living area.

I'm thinking that she may have hit the sack early -- before the others.

I also don't understand the stool incident - how its written from the MFC perspective - that the boy slid backwards and somehow couldn't pull himself back up - so he was half on and half off the stool. But I'm not sure if I am picturing it right and did he sustain an injury from this or was it just a awkward position and it required the MFC to assist and he was frustrated that he had to - because what would have happened if he wasn't there?

I don't see the relevance - active child - got into a awkward spot needing adult help?? IMO I am not following???

In Caroline Overington's book she states that FGM was the last one to retire .... watching her TV program till the end, before turning he lights and retiring to bed....

Chapter 2 Page 13, Missing William Tyrrell

However, so much information seems to have changed over the years....

There seems to be so many inconsistencies in their stories - The FGM is asked in the video, "when he went around the corner of the house, could you still hear him?.. was he still playing tiger" and she responds "no, no, no".

I'm not sure if my memory is correct, but I thought the FFC stated that they could hear him roaring around outside.

Just the call charge records, not the texts themselves according to Jubelin.

I delete emails like that, sort for certain senders because I know there's nothing from them I want to keep, select the group and press delete once. It could have been a routine clean-up and an easy way not to delete anything relating to business.
I think however there were messages before and after that block of messages being deleted. Not all messages were deleted, just those. IMO

  • #98
Well, we haven't heard when the delete happened. If it was immediately after the end of the deleted period, more than a month before William disappeared, that would explain why later texts remained undeleted. The earlier ones, I don't know, perhaps he didn't get around to scrolling back that far.
Yes that’s possible especially if you are selecting one at a time and not opting for select all. I do that.

She didn’t blame the bio parents. She was just saying that Williams behaviour wasn’t great after seeing them. IMO because these visits were not regular and not very long he was very confused by the whole thing. That is why he could be acting out. There is nothing to suggest William said he wanted to go back to his mother, same with his sister. There was nothing “foreign” about his home environment with the fosters. He was in their care longer than he was the bios
I think it would have been foreign initially. IMO.

And somewhere in all these inconsistencies lies the truth ........
