Notwithstanding any difficult behaviour from the girl in question, the alleged verbal and physical abuse directed at her was completely unacceptable. It sounds like her teacher at school was involved in the report of this incident and Lindsay said she was scared to go home. This couple appear to be unfit for their role as foster carers. If they were struggling, they had a duty to the child in their care to alert FACS etc. and seek help.

I don’t recall seeing Lydene Heslop’s words before. The FFC and the FGM were both on her doorstep. Where was William’s sister? With MFC? Or AMS? Although I thought he raced off searching as soon as he got home. Was someone else present at the home that morning?
That’s a really Good question Curiouskatz11.. where was W sister when both FM and FGM went to knock on LH door and FF was frantically searching through neighbouring properties for 90min (as stated in his walkthrough)? Let’s hope she wasn’t left on her own. Perhaps someone like a friend of the family was there at the time. I do recall the officer conducting the walkthrough ask the FF who was the first person he saw on the street that morning other than family or friends.

Yes, just reading about that. I wonder what the heck brought on that situation.
Why the sister presumably said she would defacate on the floor. (Because a person doesn't say that if you do that you will get your nose rubbed in it, unless it has been threatened.)

Hopefully the sister has been moved on to BGM's house, and BGM can cope with the "problematic behaviour". She may have some experience in how to deal with it. imo
Was the child denied use of the toilet perhaps?

What's that about BGM? Has it been said in the article (which I can't read) or elsewhere that sister is now with BGM? Or is it a different BGM from the celebrated XX whose initials I'm not allowed to use?

ETA: Please change my own presumption of 'sister' to what the article actually says - which is the 'child' or the 'girl'.

For those who can't read The Australian article (I am sure the DM will have their own version pretty soon), it says that the sister was given 44 minutes Time Out ... it doesn't say what the Time Out was for. Presumably they are snipping parts from the police report - or maybe have been given a redacted police report.

She appears to have not wanted to stay in TO, and FD made her stay by grabbing her about the neck (shoulders?). Made her sit back down.

The police report says that the FP were “attempting to intervene in the (alleged) victim’s problematic behaviour”.

There must have been a bit of to-and-fro going on imo, as the FM kicked sister 'causing her bruising and pain'.
Sister said she hated them.

Sister must have said she would defecate on the floor imo, as FM told her if she did that she would get her face rubbed in it.

It says at some point FM hit her with a wooden spoon, but it is not clear when.

The stalking and intimidation relate to the assault charges, as far as I can tell.

The sister told her teacher that she was afraid to go home. Presumably, the teacher did a mandatory report.

Maybe once the case is heard they will say what the indcident was about. (My thought)

No, the article says nothing about the BGM. I was just thinking maybe sister is with her now, in family care. Because that would seem the best way to go for a foster child with perhaps available family to help.

BGM reportedly had issues with her sons when they were younger ... she might have some ideas about how to deal with the behaviour. The FP were evidently out of their league, in that regard. imo

Interesting perspective. Perhaps lazily I took BGM's children's issues as an adverse reflection on her parenting.

Wondering if anyone can recall this photo which was posted way back in one of the earliest threads. It has the Chanel 9 logo on it and I’m not sure whether or not there was an article attached to it. Looking at all the details like FGM blue slippers W sister little pink pram the water bottle on the table in between the 2 chairs.. it seems as though that picture was taken the same day WT went missing.. interestingly though you can see the Spider-Man toy laying on the back deck not far from the pram and in the 60min interview this is the exact same toy the FP show as being one of WT favourite toys. The only thing I wondered about was where was that toy when the pictures of W taken on the back deck that morning. The positioning of all the items in the picture seem to me like everyone had just dropped what they were doing in that moment

Can we please have the link to the thread? So we can read about it.

A few pages back, sillybilly explained how to link old posts ....

Hey folks,

OT but necessary as it relates to using the WS "Share" feature.

Post numbers can change as a result of ongoing moderation or thread cleanups. A post just referred to as, for example, "post #913" may end up being post #902 or #899 etc if Mods have had to remove any number of posts.

If you are going to reference a Websleuths post as your source, you need to click on the post # (in the upper right hand corner), wait for the page to reload, then click the "Share" icon that looks similar to this View attachment 349492. The URL of that post will appear and you can then copy & paste that URL link into your post. Doing that will always take members to the appropriate post, regardless of how many posts have been removed over time.

By using the above method, members/Mods/Admins aren't having to rummage around the board to find the post you are talking about.

Thanks !!

Ok so looking back at my photos I found this. I know it’s not the actual link but I will try to find that also

Such a sad and dire situation for the the child….You never know what goes on behind closed doors…. IMO

From this type of parental behaviour one could suggest that a “fit of rage“ type incident is possible in William’s case….

Good on the media for challenging the suppression orders and finally getting somewhere!

imo

Well it certainly doesn’t shock me that’s for sure but it definitely paints a very clear picture of the FM

Don't worry about it. I found it - by searching the member's posts, once I saw who made the post.

I think we are supposed to post the relevant link every time we post an image. (in case you didn't know)

I am pretty naive ….. so it does shock me …. I had thought maybe a “single smack” ….. I am not saying that is OK either…. But what has been alleged by Police in the charge is pretty horrendous and it left bruising ..
Never mind the psychological trauma that follows….imo

Sorry ... I need to make a correction. Nowhere in The Australian article does it say that the involved child is William's sister. The alleged victim is described as the child or the girl.

That was completely my own presumption and is not stated in The Australian article.

(I have now done a prefacing edit to my paraphrased post)

To be honest Slouth “nothing surprises me” has become my phrase of the decade. FACS have a lot to answer for and I can only hope that more about their involvement comes to light throughout the future proceedings.

I found reading the entire Australian article quite shocking and filled me with sadness about the entire situation …. And at the same time wondering how did it get to that before something was done about it? How did no one see the warning signs???

All of the allegations are awful, but physically kicking a child is a very low act imo … it is deplorable behaviour …. Something that I would associate with “thugs in a street brawl” … JMO

It’s a sad world out there and seems to be getting worse by the day …. Is there no end to human depravity????

So I guess you are correct and “nothing should surprise me“ these days, but it does ….

imo
