Plus any family benefits - and rent assistance - they had been receiving would no longer be forthcoming, as the grandchildren had been removed due to his treatment of children. Back to plain old age pension, which is a pittance and barely enough to get by, according to pensioners in MSM.
I agree. I don't think they were rolling in the dough. A repairman and pawn shop owner, in small country towns.
