Hey K-Mac,

I don't like pointing fingers in any direction, rather just like to raise questions based on what's been made public, being objective.

I don't think the bio GM should be talked down on social media and in forums like this; people saying she's a fool etc. Okay not everything might make logical sense, but she shouldn't dissed on. We all say silly things from time to time. She's had alot to deal with in terms of her son and then the William situation.

Nothing more frusting for the bios in those first 2-3 years that being gagged by the courts due to William's foster situation.
im not sure what your getting at.
if your going to tag my post please be clear who you are directing your comments to.
I haven't talked the GM down??
I have gone into bat for the bios on many occasions around here as they don't get the same treatment as the fosters.
however I do agree with most comments last few days. she isn't being helpful to Williams case.

I recall him disappearing from BS' facebook friend list around that time, too. Interesting.

Not for Col to be in the limelight, but do I recall he has some family adjustments - or am I confused with another contact ... Aahhh ... Sorry

Yes it does sound as though NC had a lot going on with her boys.
Maybe BC was in no condition to appeal, anyways.

Ms Tyrrell said she didn't speak out around the time William went missing because she "thought it was best".

"They know what they're doing. Like, I didn't wanna go on news being, like, angry or anything, making anything worse."

William Tyrrell's mother says foster parents 'should feel guilty'

Oh K-Mac I wasn't directing that at you re: talking down of the bio GM...
I was just making a generalisation that there seems people are dissing the bio GM that's all.

Long time lurker,

Going to be in the minority here, don't hate me, it's just an opinion.

For mine I think it's been way too easy to point the finger at BS, he's the fall guy.
For decades there have been people wrongly convicted across the world for crimes they didn't commit.

Does anyone seriously think that if you were due to do a job on a particular day, at a particular house that you'd instead come along and take a child? You'd be the prime suspect without police having to look far. Surely he can't be that dumb? Yes the guy has historical charges pending before the courts, that may be purely coindential in the overall scheme of things with the Tyrrell case. No sympathy from me that he's facing those charges if he's commited the offences.

If you personally were considering taking someone from a place where you were due to be at to complete a job, might as well walk to the police station. But then again, people do, do, stupid things, don't they!

Personally I have struggled to believe the 'official' version of events.

Why?

IMO there remains question marks (things said that stick out like a sore thumb) in the 000 call, official police interview released on April 17th 2015 and the 60 mins interview. Unfortunately, I don't think people want to go down that path and dissect those 3 published items. I've listened countless times to the above 3 items there are aspects that have never sat well with me. I enjoy true crime cases and looking at the evidence that's published.

Do I think a murder has taken place? No! Sadly I don't think William is alive, hope I'm wrong.

I would expand on my thoughts but I don't think people would have an open mind; reading on here people seemed convinced the answers lie within previously named POIs. In time, you guys might prove to be correct.

I like everyone, want this tragic, appauling case solved. I really hope this 4 week bush investigation helps the dectectives in bringing this case either before a criminal court or a coronial inquest.

i agree and trying to stay open minded to all scenarios and we all just want this case solved and justice for this precious little boy

It upsets me that NC is afforded the titles “distraught Nan” “William’s biological Grandma” etc while his Mother, Father & Grandmother have FOSTER slapped in front of theirs as if they were just strangers providing a service of care for him, they were the only real family he knew (I know he had infrequent visits with the bios still) you can see how dearly loved he was in all the photos & obviously still is. I believe this case gets the publicity & funding it does, solely because the people who were raising him have fought just as hard as the Morcombes did, but behind the all the red tape, out of the public eye.
I feel for the bio parents, I don’t doubt that they are hurting, but it is very obvious which set of parents put the children first, had their lives structured for them & their needs.
I hope whatever the outcome of this case, the people he saw as his Mother & Father are the first to know, the ones to make any funeral arrangements, or if by some miracle little William is still alive & found, I hope they are the ones who get to be there for him.
Sorry for the rant, all the new attention & hopes that this case may actually see an end has certainly delivered some mixed feelings for all of us I’m sure.

I really do understand your sentiments Violet. However, I try to not get caught up in the 'laws of nature' that give relevance to 'biological' etc.

I also try not to get caught up in the any number of factors that may present as a 'better way of life'.

These children were given a different home for reasons we will never be truely priviledged to know IMO .. and I don't really care to know, unless things take a turn where it becomes relevant.

I've no doubt that these children are very much loved by both sets of 'parents' & their extended families. And that they are blessed to have the experiences & expressions coming from that diversity.

People grieve in their own way. I know.

I'd ask perhaps we give the families some leeway .. as much as some stuff may get us frustrated & tempt us to say 'Just S T F U !! '

Lots of great sleuthing going on :D My spidey senses are still stuck on a) no real proof that WT was actually playing there at the time stated. Too many conflicting reports and one neighbour 'heard' kids playing. Tape recorder? b) where was his sister at the time? again, lots of different reports, but apparently they were riding bikes in the driveway. She is 5 and surely would be able to articulate something? Also, too many coincidences - Dad left the house as there was no mobile phone reception, washing machine man, Mum and gran out the back...i dunno....it just all doesn't add up to a random?

Interesting cover layout, using the shape of ouija board planchette

Looks like a Google Maps pin to me. Probs didn’t make it red as it wouldn’t have contrasted well with the background.

We sleuth. That’s what we do via MSM so whatever is in MSM it’s open slather. I didn’t see the word fool but IMO she certainly says foolish things in MSM so that’s our topic right now and I’ll speak about it.

IMO she’s dissing herself with foolish talk.
Someone please tell if the Morcombes would’ve told the police to stop looking because Daniel was dead. He’s dead & you won’t find him.

If that’s not stupid talk I’ll eat my dang hat!

The photo time stamp shows william there on that verandah at that time & witnesses don’t need to record what they heard

The Morcombe's always held their heads high when it came to social media, talking to press; able to amazingly keep their emotions under control. It obviously totally different for the bio GM to keep her emotions in check. Dealing with government red tape, not being able to publicly comment for a long time due to suppression orders. I'd probably fly off the handle too under those circumstances.

Personally I think it's ridiculous they're searching the bush again. The bird flew 4 years ago IMO. Unless the taskforce have been given a very good reason to do so. Perhaps down the track if this does go to a coronial inquest it might highlight how things could've been better handled, right from Day 1 for all parties (Bios, FPs, Taskforce) with a vested interest.
