I’ve just finished watching the series 2 of struggle street on SBS. Not important to this case really but just made me think how the other half live and what drugs can do. It’s a very sad but good watch . You are either born into this cycle or one step away from being in it if you make bad choices

Does that mean he was never at Kendall?
The visit was meant to “surprise” the grandmother.

Chloexx that article is saying that his scent wasn't picked up at other neighbouring properties/Bush.

Therefore they are led to believe he was grabbed from the yard as that's where his scent stopped.

Two quite significant statements from your link, soso:

I can't believe that 3 weeks has gone by so quickly. Initially I thought 4 weeks was a long time for searching but see now they would probably like even more time if possible. I still find it odd though that they didn't do this 2nd thorough forensic search earlier than 4 years down the track to confidently conclude he was abducted. Might just be me, but it seems like the best way to go to make sure that the focus is on the right theory, i.e. abduction. Makes me think even more that they really are just wrapping the final bow on prior to arrest/s and they've known for some time.... Impatient for justice...

Yes, the above was even published in the SMH which i know caught my attention at the time. I believe the FFamily was under heavy suspicion at the beginning of the investigation, being the last and only people to see WT in Kendall, and therefore they had to be looked at closely first. However, they have been cleared.

It does seem to have gone by quickly, especially as they also had the Batar Creek site to search. They may need more time — I guess we’ll have to wait and see if the Benaroon Drive search is extended.

It also seems like we’re coming to some sort of conclusion. Whether that will be an arrest or inquest, I’m not so sure at the moment. I’m impatient for justice for William and his loved ones too. This must be torture for them.

Who do you mean by “he” William ? Because if you do it has been verified a million times. The photo ect proves that as does his scent from the dogs.

I could be wrong, but I think you’ll find they couldn’t pick up a scent beyond the yard. MOO, but my memory isn’t what it used to be.

Re sniffer dogs: On the thread the question had been discussed, whether WT disappeared from the front yard or the drive way or the side of the house. When I searched for "dog's scent" (my memory told me, the scent had ended on the front yard near the street), then I found the old article. Thought, it would be interesting.
Re "something felt wrong" : Important, IMO, to remember this statement by police. Today, in 2018, something still feels very wrong and mysterious.

As always: things, which would help the investigation, are unknown to us or taboo.

If an inquest is announced - any persons of interest could be called upon to face a public hearing.

You do not want to be placed on the witness list of a coronial inquiry. So “come to us before we come to you” because you WILL be telling your story.

I'm pointing out for the confusion Chloexx had and many other's have re the scent. The articles posted in THIS thread say no scent. Each different MSM article contradicts itself, but that doesn't give us the right to be so rude to new members

Police dogs were brought in and they managed to find William’s scent, but only within the boundaries of the backyard.

This one is interesting given the recent searches.
