I don't quite see why he needs representation at all. Perhaps that was his view too and then the experience of the inquest changed it. I think judges and presumably more so coroners hold private individuals and especially victims to a lower standard of organization than they do lawyers. And lawyers can be bad enough. Also it might depend on what's at stake. Whether the proposed questioning is more about the client's feelings or potentially getting closer to the truth.More I suppose I don’t understand why witnesses who had already given evidence would be recalled because an interested party didn’t engage legal representation before an inquest.
