SouthAussie I just feel if PS had been Jubelins main focus for a long time we would have known. There was nothing subtle the way he went after BS. i think he would have done the same to PS, thats why i wonder if and when he changed tack, and was he ordered to.
imo maybe they wereIMO - Maybe the cars were not even there!
I’ve lowered my expectations so much on what I hope to learn from inquest, that now I’d be happy just to know who Jubelin suspects, and why.
Good pickupHas everyone noticed that Savage has hired a solicitor AND a barrister to represent him at the inquest?
Having been away for a while, I have only just noticed that.
Mr Savage has retained a solicitor and a barrister and is expected to be called as a witness.

The basic difference between barristers and solicitors is that a barrister mainly defends people in court and a solicitor mainly performs legal work outside court. However, there are exceptions in both cases. ... They also have specialist knowledge of the law and so are often called on to give legal advice.

Many barristers, for instance, charge between $1000 and $2000 a day. Senior barristers (QCs or SCs) can charge as much as $10,000 per day.

Considering that Jubes is charged with recording Savage on 4 occasions between November 3, 2017, and December 28, 2018 (see below link - more than a year). And that the disagreement with Lambert was reported in August 2018 - it seems that Jubes was investigating Savage for quite a while. Well before and after his disagreement with Lambert.
Was Spedding ever Jubes' sole focus, or is that a perpetuated illusion?
Hans Rupp was in charge when Spedding was intensively searched, not Jubes.
Hans Rupp was in charge when Spedding was brought in for his 10-page statement.
Hans Rupp was in charge when police wanted to know why Spedding deleted his call log.

I don’t want to rain on anyone’s parade but most witnesses ( actually all witnesses) are usually represented by a barrister and a solicitor for a coroners inquest ... even if you are innocent.. there is usually a large line of them in front of the coroner.... all of whom can ask questions .. or refrain ... for every witness....
The other frustrating part of coroners inquests is that unless there is some major previously unknown information gained,.......
is that all parties most likely know the outcome of the inquest before it even began.... that is the Barristers and Solicitors.... would already know the main outcomes....
I think the main outcomes of the inquest will be focused on FACs policies and procedures along with Police Policies and Procedures.... the government agencies ... to improve them for future case management ... this MOO...
Totally off topic but am I the only one who thinks Jubes is a bit of alright?
Damn it!!!Hahaha .... get in line!![]()
SA ... I can’t get the quote thing to work...
The Barrister asks the questions....and objects etc on your behalf.... the Solicitors sit behind them ... and do all the hard work prior with gathering relevant info etc and handing that to the Barrister if required ... the solicitor can also leave the court to find additional info if required ... I hope that makes sense??
Question, PS was via audio/video at the first inquest stating he had no representation and was advised to get it. Am I right there?
Well if it was PS who took Jubes down for recording him then he must have had legal representation then.
Have I got the time-lines right?
Yes... very expensive.... for a lot of this inquest you will find the Barrister bills are being picked up by the Government Agencies involved.. eg FACs and the Police - there will most likely also be Barrister for the Police Union as well ... to protect officers ...Yes, it does. Thanks.
Pretty pricey for those who hire a barrister. I guess Savage must really feel the need for that type of elevated representation at the inquest.
