I understand. But it seems the intensive investigation into Spedding had commenced before Jubes took over. Likely for good and valid reason (including the tip that a child's t-shirt was found lodged in Spedding's pipes ... what kind of t-shirt was it? The police knew exactly what kind of t-shirt William was wearing - a specific Spiderman one).

I can't imagine that Jubes recorded Savage the moment he started investigating him. He may have been investigating Savage for quite a while, before he ever recorded convos with him.

Jubes never would speak of POIs or the investigation. He said that many times.
Perhaps he had several suspects and the media just ran with whatever they could see and hear.
Perhaps Lambert was upset because he thought Jubes should leave Savage alone.
We just don't know, and may never know. imo (Unless Jubes writes a book about it all, one day ).

Plus we do not know if there is any connection to more than one person involved, We don't know if is a connection to BS and PS. That connection could be something as simple as BS also repaired PS washing machine at some point (no speculation).

I often wonder if PS is familiar with or knows of the cars in the street as well and he more a witness to something he may have seen however wont talk.

Having been away for a while, I have only just noticed that.

Tyrrell inquest to hear from Kendall residents
The inquest into the 2014 disappearance of three-year-old William Tyrrell is this week expected to hear from residents of the mid-north coast town of Kendall, where he was last seen.

Police have investigated dozens of leads from the community, including reports of someone swapping gravestones in a local cemetery, but are no closer to confirming who took the toddler.

The inquest before Deputy State Coroner Harriet Grahame has heard William was probably driven away from the area in a car, possibly by a stranger.

Next week the inquest will move to Taree on the mid-north coast

I definitely think Jubes would have a strong reason for speaking to PS, especially at 10.30 at night. I guess there is so much we do not know.

On a side note, as a parent of young children, I know that my recollection of time may not always be accurate.
Once my son stopped breathing and I called the ambos and what felt like a lifetime was not even a minute. And other times where I have thought it to be 2 minutes, was in fact 10.
So very reasonable to assume that little William might have been out of sight a bit longer than initially thought. Of course MOO.
Another thing that bugs me is the coincidence of the whole situation, with BS and his history, supposed to fix FGM washing machine, then his connection to TJ and BGM's friend. The fact that William was taken in a short window of time while MFC was away and just out of sight for a short time by FFC. Just boggles my mind. I always say sometimes the answer is so simple but we go around and around trying to find it.

Just hope he is found.

The William Tyrrell inquest will resume shortly with testimony from Sharon Starr, a service station attendant. Other witnesses today will be heard in a closed court, meaning we will not be able to hear their testimony.

Question, PS was via audio/video at the first inquest stating he had no representation and was advised to get it. Am I right there?
Well if it was PS who took Jubes down for recording him then he must have had legal representation then.
Have I got the time-lines right?

Not quite. At the directions hearing in December PS was via audio and he'd applied for and been given "leave to appear" (to be represented at the inquest) but he hadn't quite organized it yet; apparently his solicitor was overseas or something. I believe it was all in place by March, solicitor plus barrister.

I was thinking along those lines. Has he changed his story . Was his recorded conversation different to official statement maybe ?

PS missing for two hours . . . was possibly also the time of TJ's disputed alibi when he might have been driving in the forests in search of scrap metal. Am I remembering right that TJ told someone he was going to see "Paul", and it was assumed he meant PB? Any chance he meant PS?

Interesting this, I wonder what the medias argument is.

Or what is being discussed today or other days in closed court.

From memory one MSM did see the witness list for proceedings and who was appearing (not sure if included dates) but I wonder if they are the ones challenging closed court due to who is appearing.
