I think she was adding her own commentary perhaps in anticipation and after tweeting realized that wasn't appropriate. She needs to say what's happening at the inquest and not indulge in free association.
Oh, I took it to mean that Mrs Sharpe said it. Sorry for the confusion.

You know p&g, you may want to remove the grandparents assoc name from your post as well - while you still can. Maybe they are not going to publicly identify that?

"You say in your statement you woke up at 6am and instead of going for your usual daily walk, you grabbed your swimming pool net and went off searching," Mr Craddock said.

The court heard Mr Savage searched the creek at the back on his property, a dam and other water holes in the area.

Mr Savage's lawyer Chris McGorey asked him how his memory rates now compared to the last five years.

"Not real good," Mr Savage said in response.

Coroner says Tyrrell inquest is "just scratching the surface"

The inquest on Thursday heard there were some discrepancies among Mr Savage's multiple statements including one given in late September 2014.

"Had you known you'd been asked (some very detailed questions) five years later, you'd probably have wished they had been asked back then, wouldn't you?" Mr Savage's barrister, Chris McGorey, asked on Friday.

"Yes," the retiree replied.

Hmm ... are they wondering if he went to retrieve evidence and place it somewhere else?

On the morning William went missing, Mr Savage says he searched a nearby fire trial alone after seeing that other neighbours were looking in the street, the inquest has been told.

He didn't tell anyone that he'd found nothing and he assumed the boy was still missing because police were arriving in the street.

While he participated in SES and police searches later that afternoon, he said he took it upon himself the next day to search solo along a creek running through bushland behind his and neighbouring homes.

Mr Savage said he'd always done the best he could to tell police what he remembered, including in September 2017 when detectives arrived unannounced at his home and asked him to participate in a filmed walkthrough interview.

The widower choked back tears when he was asked about that police video showing a room with photos of his late wife, Heather, and flowers placed nearby.

Heather Savage died of cancer in April 2015.

"You set up it as a bit of a thing for her?" Mr McGorey asked.

"It was my ... yeah," Mr Savage replied.

He said her death had been "very hard" to cope with and he'd been further knocked around by his brother's death this year. The inquest continues.

I am going to walk away for a bit now. Doesn't seem to be anything happening. Could be lunchtime.

Hopefully someone else can watch the twitter feed. TIA :)

Mr Savage: “When I seen the police there and people still coming, I thought he was still missing”.

However Mr Savage’s lawyer Chris McGorey later posed the question that hadn’t another neighbour, Anne Maree Sharpley, also not informed William’s foster grandmother she too had finished searching, and was taking off for work.

Poor old FGM wouldn't have been the one co-ordinating the search. Red Herring. IMO.

Coincidentally.
Amazing coincidence.. I wonder who Mrs Sharpe’s husband might be, and if she happened to make that call from a landline that could also have been accessed by him?

Council worker????

A relative said Mr Jones was in the bush collecting scrap metal at the time, while Mr Jones told another source he was out using a chainsaw he had borrowed from the local council.

Bonny Hills man Dean Pollard has now taken the stand. He told the court he met Bill Spedding a couple of years before William disappeared. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

From 22 Jan 2015:
"Resident Dean Pollard said the couple are the guardians of at least three grandchildren.
He said at least 20 police officers and six cars were parked outside the home since 7am on Tuesday."

Long break between tweets. :( Surely not a closed court again.

Could be Peter O'Brien interjecting. I have a feeling that he is going to interject a lot, any time Spedding is mentioned.

Seems to be the way when Spedding is mentioned anywhere.
