Read back. I said I haven't seen any clarification by Laura Beacroft, and unless her opinion is based on cold hard facts. Nowhere have I said she doesn't have any.

It would be great to know what was in Heather's statement. It would also be good for Jubes to be able to explain his reasons for the varied times stated, and his reasons for feeling that there was a clear line of sight from the Savage's viewpoint to FGM's house/property.

I certainly hope that the Coroner can work out all the differences from the police brief. Because from what I have seen stated over time, there are different opinions by different officers.

I have a feeling there is no statement from Heather Savage .... (CO Podcast says the Coroner said there is no “statement” from the FF - only the walk thru interview filmed 8 days later.... ) Just to point out that an important statement had been missed..

I posted earlier in the thread the exact time in the podcast where CO makes a point of saying
“People have died and cars have been sold”
It is a very pronounced statement in the podcast ...
I think this relates to Heather and others that could help clarify the situation...

To my knowledge there hasn’t been a statement released as being by Heather... but those who attended the Inquest may know more about that???

I also wonder if “Lyn the Caravan Lady” has also passed on ?? ... and if this is the reason she is not on the inquest witness list??...
As CO definitely said “people” meaning more than one...

Heather Savage's statement was mentioned in one of Lia's podcasts. The link can be found back in the threads. The statement hasn't been released by the Coroner, as far as I have seen anywhere.


With regard to the FF, I believe a recorded question and answer walkthrough (as he did) and informal statements are considered legal statements.

Messenger can be and is hacked.

I don't know if you have ever received a message from a friend - like I and others I know have - who says something like "is this you in this video?". Then if you open the video to look, your details are caught by the hackers - perhaps giving your device a virus.
The message isn't from the friend, it is from someone hacking into the friend's Messenger account.
Fortunately, a lot of people are aware of these hackers now.
But it shows how a Messenger account can be hacked.

Just wondering if anyone saw Col at the inquest at all, or has his support for Spedding diminished. Or maybe someone was there representing him? Just throwing around ideas. Maybe if he wasn’t there he’s fallen ill- hope not, but difficult to explain his absence given his staunch support at the beginning.

It’s weird, I can’t seem to find some of the old articles that featured him and had photos of him.

Most court hearings, other than the actual trial itself are big no-moments. The allegations are usually only raised at bail applications, the trial and specific applications. Most other hearings are generally administrative, to confirm disclosure has been given etc. sometimes friends ask to come and watch a trial. I tell them they would be bored.

Listing a matter for trial is not complicated and doesn’t need a QC to attend for that. The instructing solicitor can do it.

Has this been stated? I just wondering of the chances of the scent being left behind if he was taken by foot versus by car. Would this have the same result?

Hi Madoodi I believe his scent was not found past the boundary of FGM's property ( where IN the property IMO has not been reported)
Hence my personal belief that he was picked up & carried off the property - is there bushland adjoining anywhere ?

Similarly (IMO) we've not been told which other human scents were detected inside the property boundary. ..nor in what areas.

Perhaps someone can inform me how long body scents are detectable for?
Presuming FF & both children were immediately eliminated - then to suss out others ie handyman, gardener, tradies, meter readers, postie if brings parcels to the door ...
