Because they wanted justice for poor William. Same reason we’re all here talking about it so many years later.
Doesn't make it okay.

JMO – If the young 11 year old had not been removed from the FM and FF when she was, I horror to think that we could all be discussing a far worse outcome for her in that house. Escalating abuse by them has demonstrated that both FM and FF were struggling to control their rage … pointing to the increasing violence possibilities.
JMO - and now the FM has chosen to plead guilty to assault charges (Hardly worth fighting!), but pleading not guilty to intimidation .... may be linked and they go hand-in-hand; this has now been handled as per this link:Removed 9 months too late. With full police knowledge of the abuse she suffered. Disgusting.

Magistrate rejects attempt by Tyrrell foster mother to have charges thrown out
“The hearing was adjourned to December 4. A judgment is expected to be delivered next year.”
The visits were court ordered.step 1
she had the visits with the bios reduced.
The birth mother said she said she had not given up on William, and had attended every bimonthly visit, requested more contact and pursued the few paths birth parents have to regain custody when their children are taken by FACS.The visits were court ordered.
4/2013 - Childrens Court - final orders were made where contact visits were 6 times a year - bi-monthly & the Bio mum could ask for more.
The birth mother said she said she had not given up on William, and had attended every bimonthly visit, requested more contact and pursued the few paths birth parents have to regain custody when their children are taken by FACS.
'I'd send emails, call the ombudsman,' she told the court.

She didn't attend the one before the last visit, however she was very pregnant by the last visit and maybe she had been ill the 2nd last time or it could possibly be that the foster family were in Bali the time the 2nd last visit was scheduled. The last visit had three department people monitoring WT's behaviour for that hour the bio Mum was visiting to see if WT needed support. <modsnip>MOOThe birth mother said she said she had not given up on William, and had attended every bimonthly visit, requested more contact and pursued the few paths birth parents have to regain custody when their children are taken by FACS.

What does that information have to do with his disappearance. Why would that concern the coroner at all. It’s not going to be “examined”, the inquest isn’t about his foster statusHow poor 'bogans' were treated when rich couple 'lost' William Tyrrell A lawyer for the Salvation Army, which had co-supervised with FACS some of William's fostering, sat by two lawyers representing a neighbour and a washing machine repairman, with everyone else represented, but the birth parents.
Why don't they mention the the other organisation that was initially involved with WT's fostering, before the care being transferred to the Salvation Army? I believe that has pertinent information and I hope is examined next tranche. MOO
Just because she said it doesn't make it true IMO
Likely because she don't have high powered attorneys and a million dollar where's william campaign pushing her agenda...be my guess.I wonder why none of those emails have been leaked?
It's my personal opinion that tendency evidence might be established around the FFC's selection to be WT's and the other child's FM and potential adopter through a system of preference, nepotism and connections and it might also be that a child could be "lost" or "moved on" the same way. What does that information have to do with his disappearance. @Megnut with respect have you either fostered or adopted in Australia? Because if you are in the US (for example), then it operates very, very differently. In Australia there is no foster-to-adopt like the US. It's virtually impossible as a foster parent to get to the point of adoption. Most children who need care until 18 are on a permanent care court order in which they may remain in foster care but the bioparents rights are not removed. Moving from PC to adoption is not unheard of, but unlike some states in the US it is very rare.In fact, I don't think they're fosters at all. I think they're adopters who saw fostering as a means to an end. Their means. With little regard for birth parents or for the children caught in the system.
Unbeknown to the birth parents, the foster parents had spoken with Mr Attwood about applying to the NSW Supreme Court to formally adopt William.@Megnut with respect have you either fostered or adopted in Australia? Cases of children being placed straight for adoption (for example a baby relinquished at birth) are even more rare in Australia than a foster child moving to adoption. Cases are in the single digits in most states each year and my particular area has some years with zero adoptions. There are lots of reasons but a big one is that commercial adoption agencies are illegal as is any type of payment to a birthmother.

No, the other organisation that began WT's fostering before he was transferred to the Young Hope prog through the Salvation Army.Sounds like the Youth Hope service was part of the Salvation Army. So the Salvation Army would have all the records. Which is likely why Ben Atwood does most of the talking.
