Australia Australia - William Tyrrell Disappeared While Playing in Yard - Kendall (NSW) #79

  • #1,281

Thank you. Now we know that Leah Harris says that the cadaver dog turned up about 3 or 4 days after William went missing. And we have the link on the thread.

I wonder if they ran a cadaver dog through Ray Porter's vehicle or Danny Parish's vehicles. The vehicles that they were so interested in at the inquest.

Final submissions due by tomorrow.

Deputy State Coroner Harriet Grahame has ordered counsel assisting the inquiry to file submissions by February 28, while the police commissioner's are due by April 29.
All other submissions must be filed by May 30, before responses are handed up by June 13.

The coroner will then set down a date to deliver her findings.

Possibly. There were cadaver dogs canvassing the areas near and around Herons Creek in 2019 and again in 2020, with a particular focus on an area at the sawmill and caravan park where FA was living when W went missing.
Information about these areas and the people connected to them were not known to police during the first few days of the search. Fgm car could have and should have been search immediately had the fm been truthful with NSWPF on that day, about her drive in nana’s car. I think it’s pretty clear why fm withheld that crucial piece of information until almost a week after W was gone

Her car should have been searched regardless of whether she told them or not.

The police messed up big time.

I think they were , both the FF's & FGM's , including digital devices, I'm sure it's in one of the book IMO

Both cars were searched.

William Tyrrell’s foster grandmother’s car, which has been seized by police for forensic testing, had already been examined days after the toddler went missing seven years ago, The Daily Telegraph can reveal.
Crime scene officers also examined his foster parents’ then-new four-wheel-drive, and the two vehicles were returned when nothing incriminating was found.

Thank you for clarifying. This is why links are helpful in posts.

The Police obviously have a lot more information than we do and that is why they continue to go down the path they are. The media do not know what the Police know either.

It’s interesting that the DPP have still not said whether Police should lay charges almost 2 years after this was referred to them.

If it was clear cut that FM was innocent, the DPP would have told the Police to drop this line IMO.

There is so much more stuff that the Police have but obviously not enough to convince the DPP of a successful prosecution.

A lot of people IMO don’t understand that guilty people get away with crimes all of the time.

Proving that people did things can be harder than you think.

I would like to know, with which car the family drove to some "water" (lake??) for RECOVERY FROM STRESS BECAUSE OF THEIR MISSING WILLIAM. I remember, that a female PO had accompannied them?

Driving to an airport, driving on short-vacation - seemed to me very unusual at the time and still today .......

IIRC, everyone is now awaiting the Coroner's final report.

(IMO, the DPP has already told the police that they will not agree to prosecute the charges proposed by police.)

Exactly!!

Plus, I’m getting older and can’t remember every detail.

I did get my hands on the books today so will be good to have a refresher.

Wendy Hudson , Diamond Beach & it seems Wendy took them, presumably in a car.

Ms Hudson said she took the family to a nearby beach, in plain clothes, while searchers continued to look for William on September 16.

We have no idea what path they are currently going down. They haven’t updated us for years. If we go with who seemed to be a huge focus in the inquest, it was FA.
Edit: They actually have updated us to let us know there were many POI, not just one publicly stated

Probably because this is the amount of FACTS that David Laidlaw can provide about his detectives' theory. imo

"The blacked-out sections include almost all of Detective Chief Inspector David Laidlaw’s statement ..... This was done because these sections contain “opinions” not “proper fact-finding”, according to the senior lawyer assisting the inquest." Link

The DPP cannot prosecute on opinions. Especially when there are about 10 POIs that have not been ruled out (as per Mick Fuller, and my previous link)

Speaking to news.com.au, Mr Fuller said the current lead detective, David Laidlaw, had reduced that number from close to a thousand people originally identified as “persons of interest” by police. [bbm]

As I commented way back, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics data, in the 2021 Census, there were 890 people in Kendall, so it seems that the whole population were persons of interest.

Wow 1 thousand? I would love to know what that number is now. Doesn’t sound like it’s significantly lower or that’s even at 1 as many people would like it to be

S

If that's the case, why did no one see her drive twice?
Someone did hear a car turn around ... perhaps that was her, not the postie.

I haven’t seen that before - that is CRAZY, actually embarrassing. IMO
