Australia Australia - William Tyrrell Disappeared While Playing in Yard - Kendall (NSW) #79

The article quotes a lot of people all the way through and I fail to see the connection to APS and the information Candace Sutton put in her article.

The following quote is by one of the PR company in an interview. This article was published at least 2 years after the Daily mail, Candace Sutton article. I doubt APS and CS know the PR company's business better than they do themselves. MOO

She points to how the foster parents twice lobbied for police investigative resources to be doubled so that William’s case didn’t get relegated to an unsolved crime and how they fought to have the reward increased from the original $250,000 offering.

“What many won’t know is how hard this heartbroken couple fought behind the scenes,” she says. “Someone with anything to hide would hardly work so hard to increase investigative resources.”
They began the strategy, when several shady men were the changing suspects and FFC=FM wasn't in the focus yet. MOO

On that note, I just want to say that despite all the other recent horrendous occurrences here in Aus that have taken centre focus, I remain committed to justice for little William 🙏

Former William Tyrrell investigator says SA police looking at ‘other possibilities’ in disappearance of boy

October 8, 2025 — 3.21pm

The former lead investigator into the disappearance of NSW boy William Tyrrell believes South Australian police have learnt lessons from the high-profile case in their search for four-year-old Gus Lamont.

[... ] lessons perhaps learnt from the William Tyrrell investigation, where the whole focus was on finding the little boy lost, and an investigation wasn’t started immediately.

(pay-walled for some)

Hmmm, not sure what GJ means. Although police portrayed to the media and public a little boy lost scenario, they were also quick to start investigating other avenues of some human intervention by their suspicions, lines of questioning, house searches etc. Did this South Australian case make the property a crime scene straight away, send out amber alerts or police stop cars in certain areas initially whilst searching for Gus? If not, then what might they be doing differently to the initial WT case, besides possibly putting the parents and last person to see him under intense scrutiny and not clearing those people until there is clear forensic evidence to do so? MOO

I think he's referring to the notion that police need to treat such reports as potential crimes from the get-go and tape-off the area, etc, immediately.

This 2024 article contains some quotes from residents about the 'bedlam' that ensued when WT was reported missing:

Incredibly CRUEL money hungry click-bait on Rupert Murdochs "News" site right now. It's a top story.

Just a non-story to say "not related at all". Barely a sentence worth of story.

People are horrified by AI misleading the public. But our culture was ruined before that by these pathetic standards.

There are few more paragraph in the (pay-walled) Daily Telegraph's version of the story but nothing of consequence.

It does mention that the coroner is expected to hand down findings on what happened to Tyrrell in early 2026. Not sure if that is true -- I have lost track of the Coroner's diary for this case.

There is just so much of this fake news coming from so-called msm. Causes so much distress.

I can't see anything about the findings date in that article. Have they removed it??

No new info.

No, but I think it's apparent from this that "Lindsay" is ready to talk about this case when she is able to.

He is most obviously deceased, and I for one have no doubt who is guilty.

I daresay she does and probably needs to but I really think if she actually did see anything we would know by now. I hope she is living a happy life and I think her sharing these pics is probably an important way for her to be able to remember William and that he did exist. Nice to see some different pics of him and with his sister too.

“Ms Grahame will deliver findings next year, but few have confidence that she will be able to say anything more than that William did not leave his grandmother's house on his own, and that he was taken - dead or alive - from the scene. “

And an open finding will remain... So sad. Justice for William, Lindsay, and the bio family.
