A 67 year old woman has been charged with the attempted murder of her profoundly disabled sons in their 40s.

She also tried to take her own life.

A 67-year-old woman has faced court charged with attempted domestic violence-related murder after two men were stabbed at a home in the Blue Mountains.

Emergency services were called to an address on Myall Avenue in Leura on August 24 where they found the pair with multiple stab wounds.

The men, both aged in their 40s, were taken by paramedics to Westmead Hospital where they remain after undergoing surgery"
