IMO Adrienne's case, like many other cases here, needs more media attention ASAP!!!
Anyone or anything standing out to you mamacita?
I have been studying the map for a while now, and still don't have an answer for the cab meeting spot on Hardy and University. The cab company's owner said his son was the driver who took the call and is cooperating with police etc. It just seems so odd that Adrienne would pick that spot to meet a cab when her bf's place is just a few blocks on the same road that she parked her car on. And aside from the initial report, I haven't seen anything about the witness who saw her crash her car and speed away. However, I do believe that it was Adrienne who called the cab company, or someone she was with who called. And to clarify-if there was someone she was with, was an aquaintence, not a stranger. I don't believe a stranger predator who was out that night, and who lucked into finding a distraught, possibly drunk girl who crashed her car to kidnap, would call a cab and pretend to be her. Further, since LE has not said otherwise, I assume it would be her voice that the cab dispatcher heard and not a male's voice. Also, her car was locked and her overnight bag was gone. Now it can rightly argued that the perp took that and locked the car along with Adrienne, however, to me, it seems unlikely. So I'm leaning toward a random predator coming into contact at 5 a.m. with her to be unlikely. Whatever happened to her, it had something to do with a person or persons who had previous contact with her that night. In a two-block span, this girl vanished, it was not random.
Her BF's house is not down the block. It is a few miles away, too many to imagine her trying to walk at that hour with an overnight bag in tow. her apartment was a couple of blocks away however.
I can't believe media isn't on this story more! Amazed, actually.
SBM: The Tempe PD is working this case, have no fear. Just because the media isn't privy to everything does not mean they are not working this case. My guess (ok, my sincere hope anyway) is the details are being held close to the vest for a reason. There must be a reason they are not releasing more info, right? And interesting about the reward money, that no other organization has stepped up yet, not even Rio Salado, where she was a student.
So if she was going to walk to where she was suppose to meet the cab, then why didn't she just head back in the direction of her apartment? When she hit the median, why didn't she take the direct route back to her apartment?? Her route as it's been reported makes no sense to me.
My apologies, I see my error...the difference with blue and purple for on the map was non-existant. Now I see her bf's place. Anyway, it is still the opposite direction from where she went to get the cab
No need to apologize, I figured it was something like that and I just wanted to help you out. There is obviously tons of information we are missing. Not very much of it makes sense as it stands now.
What time did the party end at her apartment? What time did she really leave?
Was she intoxicated, was she high? I am in no way trying to be disparaging, but she did make references to smoking weed on her own FB page.
If she were under the influence, that would fit in line with getting into a 1 vehicle accident, and would also be motivation to flee the scene, then ditch the car.
My guess is that that is the most likely scenario in regards to the crash, and could explain why she would flee the scene, then ditch her car. If she didn't want anyone to know about it, she probably wouldn't want to go back to her apartment. Perhaps that is why she called a cab and she said to meet at the convenience store she knew was close to her location. Did she ever make it there? I agree there would have to be some footage proving she either did or did not.
What were her and her bf fighting about? Did he have a car? Could he have left to get her? Was he aware that she was coming over? Why didn't he report anything...or did he?
I am hoping that she is hiding out somewhere with friends out of fear of getting busted for the crash....and now out of fear due to the attention she has received. I do not think her disappearance has any connection to the body found.
Thanks. I agree with you on every point you made. It would make sense for her to call the cab and have the cab meet her at a distance that is away from her wrecked car if she was impaired somehow. Except that would mean either her friends or bf would've picked her up bc she never got in the cab. And directly after she called the cab, her phone turned off. So it's possible she called the cab, then got a last second text from her bf or someone saying they would pick her up. LE has stated they have interviewed the bf and cleared him, and I'm hoping if she did go into hiding because of the car crash and ensuing attention now, she's ok. It wouldn't be the best decision for her, but I know I certainly didn't make all the right decisions when I was 19 either.

I enhanced (but no changes) the incident map from mamacita (p4) and added to the Case Archive.
Too big for the margins here, so just click.
