Why would they need K9's at her vehicle? They know she was seen walking at 5am. She didn't go missing from her car. Scent dogs would have been helpful from her apartment all along her route to the AM/PM, pinpointing exactly where her scent ends.

why even keep the car in custody then? why even care about the 911 calls about her crash?

because, for one... the 911 calls showed that their might of been 2 at the car, for one reason/

k9 from her house, damn right too.

but, thats 2wks plus ago.

now,who saw her walking at 5am? that wasn't reported beyond notation. roommate? ampm? cabbie?

my point was, they are moving hell/highwater NOW with dogs, w the cops at peoples doors and into their homes, BUT YET the most basic stuff like sniffing her from car to wherever she (and possibly someone else went,) to her apt, and then where? final movements would be nice.

they focused on her being dead, what was that, 48hrs afterwards? searching the lake like jacque costeau. but, the notion of pursuing her like she was taken, forget that. that car was a huge focus for all us forum members, and her final movements into that night and day...

i just want more info like everyone else.

i remember one kid from media, was 19, he was bounced from a local bar and tried walking back home, and they found him dead in lake.


the other one, cant remember.

lets be frank, the lake a year or so ago had the damn burst, it went to absolute dirt/empty water. it wasn't filled with bodies. it wasnt the basement of gacy

the lake has the unfortunate location as being close to young people who drink and might be walking near, i dont think as of yet, a body has been actually dumped there? i could be wrong.

it makes sense, the cops checked it. definitely. BUT they needed to canvas her apt/car location/hood more during the first 48hrs, imo. but, what does that matter meow

It has also bothered me that they didn't adequately search this area using K9s, etc.

1. She could have been injured in the accident and wandered off in a daze.

2. She could have been abducted from her impaired vehicle.

3. Someone could have used her car to dump her body...(farfetched by still possible)

4. She could have been scared and hiding

And various other reasons. I wish they had searched it right away. Possibly her dad looked around the area since he was the only one who seemed concerned.

It is doubtful that they haven't played this case from every possible angle from the onset. As for searching the lake, they are not going to waste the time and resources to do that if they don't have a reasonable suspicion that she could be in there. That suspicion could have come from information that we aren't privy to.

I know we were chatting about this a few days ago, but has it been confirmed they have her phone? If they found it early, they could've gotten tracking data off of it that perhaps led them near the lake, but is now leading them elsewhere.

Goblin...I never saw anything that indicated anyone saw her 'walking' at 5:00 am. Did you read that or see it somewhere?

The only thing I have read over and over is that she was "last seen" at 5:00 am. Sorry, I am not trying to correct you...just trying to get some facts.

The more I read about searching the lake and the more I hear about it the more I think LE had a reason to believe she might be there. I can't imagine them conducting a search so soon in the lake without good reason to do so. There are so many other possibilities as to where she could have been.

Only they concentrated there.

Yes Jack got booted for having a fake ID and ended up in Tempe Town Lake. I find it strange he was going through hazing processes when he "drowned" in the lake. You remember, it took quite some effort and time to find him? I'm still convinced he was a victim of foul play...

Does it seem like most of the bodies usually get found west of mill ave bridge? Not even in the east area near the marina...?

The other man you forgot about is Gerrick Begay whom MissDemeanor just mentioned.

It is beginning to look not like his death was accidental, but rather might have some foul play involved as well IMHO since Annovedwin Begay was murdered just 2 weeks after his body was found in Tempe Town Lake.

This is making me think more and more about the Circle K clerk who remarked that the Adrienne Missing Flier was the 5th one she had posted in 2 months.

Something needs to be done to improve the safety of this area.

If I hadn't been so saddened by Adrienne's disappearance and found this forum to get involved in I wouldn't have a clue as to how many bodies were found in the lake and how many girls/guys go missing.

But the alarming fact that one body was found and another girl went missing in the SAME day and same general area should be VERY alarming to anyone who lives there or has a son/daughter in ASU or who just is a caring and compassionate person.

I would think officials and LE in Tempe are very concerned!

And if they aren't they sure as heck should be!!!!

tempe, for size of city has one of the lowest murder rates in country. i wouldnt bet money on it, but i dont think it breaks 10 people a year. for close to 200,000 people, AND the nations' largest university.

tempe beach lake, is also the most visited spot in arizona. or number 2, behind grand canyon?

we have insane huge parties at this lake, and the ironman triathalon, and people all the time down there on dates, or picnics. its actually shocking that a manmade lake is so popular. i bike it often, too.

my point, is that the lake is gonna by percentage have people die in it, its an awful fact. the cops made right move to check it, and who can say what is what in terms of this case.

my only beef/grievance is that other things should of been spelunk'd like that lake was. thats all

It's soooo difficult to keep my thoughts straight in this case. Even when I'm trying to think of any one event, just because not many supposed facts are very concrete and other reported events seem sketchy or come from sloppy media reporting etc. But I did have one new idea I hadn't thought of previously!

The boyfriend - When he and Adrienne left the party to go to his house and they argued and he brought her back because they were still arguing and she jumped out of his car a couple of blocks before her apt (so he says) ....

How do we know he went home? Where did he go then? Did he follow her to make sure she got to her apartment complex? Did he hang around to see that she got in okay? Did they argue more after that?

Was he lurking around the complex because he wondered what was going on at the party with her? Was he snooping? Was he jealous? Was he worried about her? Did he ever go into the party after she got back? Did anyone see him?

To me these are all relevant questions and yes...I know it has been stated by LE that he is not a suspect or POI at this time but I doubt that is really true. How could he NOT be under some kind of suspicion under the circumstances.

I think he is being ruled out too quickly. I think we need to consider what the boyfriend was doing while she was supposedly out driving and walking around calling cabs and him and texting him and his lack of seeming to care about her well being etc.

I think we need to focus on him a bit more. That's what I think.

What? Are we to think he is in the clear just because LE hasn't charged him with anything?

They don't have a body. They don't have a crime. All they have is a missing person.

Let's put our heads together.

*** Why did she jump out of his car? Was she afraid of him. Were they physically fighting? Just what were they arguing about anyway?

*** Another thing: How do we know when Adrienne left the second time to go to his place that he wasn't waiting for her then? He could have been waiting outside the apartment. Maybe she knew it and maybe she didn't. Maybe they WERE in her car and he was driving and they were both in it when the car hit the median?

Personally, I am not thinking the BF is involved.
I think when she did not turn up, he may have been relieved, and gone to sleep.
But time will tell, I guess. Assuming this case is solved, unlike too many others.

The latest I could find were for 2011 but it is very interesting!

The stats are very interesting.

My fear is if Douglas Ray George is involved in also the death of Gerrick Begay, this pretty much categorizes him as a serial killer. This makes me additionally fearful for Adrienne Salinas and the possible connection to George the night of June 15 as well
