Seeing how LE talked to the taxi driver, I doubt this is his car. But more waiting, I suppose, assuming we find out more.

ok. north side entrance is where the car is reportedly driving into...

thats off university, my 2nd pic.

thats 2 mins later after she was seen on camera entering the parking lot?

sounds like, she might of arranged to be picked up there. shes coming from south down hardy

car is going north into auto parts store.

how did they both converge on that point from 2 seperate directions?

I'm sort of not buying the whole 'random driver stalking/harrassing her' angle. She had plenty of places to run where he couldn't drive and even more opportunity to scream where someone would hear her while she was running*. Whomever got her she either a) knew, or b) scheduled.

*Even if it was more than one perp where one could drive and one could give chase on foot, she would have been screaming at the top of her lungs within earshot of the cab driver and others at the AMPM.

I wouldn't scream if I saw a car...I would just keep moving, especially so close to my destination. Or she may not have thought it was following her, just crossed over to be sure. If she had called or texted anyone else, LE would know. How could she arrange a meeting without a record on her phone?

agreed. totally, this is pointing directly at a planned redezvous of salinas and this vehicle imo

Just adding Adrienne's car pics for reference.

Thank you so! much! for that clarification. That clearly changes the "running away from strange vehicle" scenario.

If they talked to him prior to having this video, it could still be him. Or, it was a cab - but not who she called.

Well that only leaves the cab driver, then, if she did not call anyone else and yet planned a meeting. Or the BF. I doubt either is the perp.

BUT, there is a possibility, salinas was being tailed/followed down hardy, she cut thru lot to get away from car and this car wrapped around hardy, onto university heading west and went right into that lot to cut her path off.

2 mins, between her in the lot walking, and the other car entering

its a possibility as well

We don't know she didn't call anyone else, phone records haven't been released. Could be someone she spoke with prior to leaving the party (in person) or en route... or HOURS before. IMO, of course.

But the two minutes. She could have easily reached AM PM in the two minutes it took for the vehicle to appear on the camera.

Doubtful to me, since she was so determined to meet up with BF.

4:52 a.m - Police said surveillance video from O'Reilly Auto Parts at 1002 W. University showed a slender woman walking through the west parking lot of the store

4:54 a.m. - A dark four-door vehicle is also seen heading northbound through the same parking lot two minutes later, according to the police report.

5:04am – Cab driver (Tom) called Adrienne to make sure she was headed to the gas station. (11)
5:05am - Cab driver (Tom) called Adrienne to make sure she was headed to the gas station (again). (11) Previous reports indicated: Police said Adrienne called a cab company, but the cabbie couldn’t find her at a Tempe convenience store. (4) “Salinas asked for a driver to meet her at the AMPM gas station at the intersection of Hardy & University. Investigators told CBS 5 she never made it there” (5). LE saw surveillance of cab driver at AMPM but there was no sign of Adrienne there. LE subsequently questioned the cab driver and searched his home. AMPM is less than ¼ mile from Adrienne’s apartment. (9)
5:06am – Adrienne called the cab driver (Tom) saying she’d be there in a minute.
5:07am – Cab driver (Tom) called Adrienne again, looking for her, but the phone went to voicemail. (11) Her phone was turned off (1) or died (8).

So - if all the times are accurate (as reported), and she was in this dark 4-door vehicle, her call would have come from the vehicle? OMG... back to MORE QUESTIONS.

4:52 Adrienne is seen on a camera seconds away from AMPM but calls the cab driver 14 minutes later to say she'll be there in a minute - and 12 minutes AFTER the dark sedan was seen on video? Nope. This story - and possibly cabbie's story - isn't adding up.

I suppose it could be an unmarked PD sedan. Hmm.

It still concerns me that the cab driver called her 3 times in 4 minutes. It seems like overplay.

Was she just having a conversation with whoever in the 4 door car and still planned on walking across the street and taking the cab and that is why she said that she would be there in a minute?

Or did she fully intend to catch the cab but the person convinced her to go with them. It may have been at this time that she realized she had no money with her for the cab and accepted the ride?

ETA: Because she had left her wallet at home...
