I wish I could see the report!
Friggin me too!
You or sand might be able to show up to the department and request to see the report (it should be public info I believe if you request for it.)

Or cut the brakes?
That which is most evident or simple seems to make the most sense at this time, and that the slender woman and car have not been identified yet. as to her car being tampered with, you would NOTE that LE has gone thru that car of hers, and NO foul play was discovered. none.
the car at oreillys, if it was the same car as the cab, that would be something. if it was the same car as what the guy who murdered the woman that same night drives, that would be something. but, thats simple 101 police work, and IF they had those connections it wouldn't take much to put it together.
one.
and, as posted prior (by missdeanor?,) PHONE hasn't been found!? ugh
In fact no one saw HER actually leave her car at that spot.
coming from lurking to just say one quick thing. the news report I heard this morning - channel 3, (KTVK) - I heard it on the 8am news, not in print... they ended the story (which supposedly had an update) by saying the BF was cleared and police are not commenting on the cabbie. Can't back this up with a link, could be shoddy reporting by Scott Passmore, just thought it odd since I thought they had cleared cabbie.
I have gone back and forth with suspects and scenarios and, after following many many cases here and elsewhere, I keep going back to occam's razor. I can't get on board with some of these wild theories, but I do hope that some nugget of truth shakes out from the brainstorming. I went to the first vigil days after she was reported missing, and I will be there this weekend, quietly observing and sharing good vibes.
O'Reilly's is an auto parts store, not a repair shop... is that correct?
Cops would know if she called for a tow truck.
Yes, a store. But employees are known to help install simple parts purchased there. IMO
