The only reason a dispatcher who is also driving would stay on the phone for 4 minutes with a client is that the client was having a hard time explaining and confirming the pick-up. This happens every Friday/Saturday in Tempe. Young men and women call for a cab and can't get it together well enough to direct the driver to them. Our dispatchers are instructed to GPS the pick-up address before the caller is let go. Just looking at the phone log, I can tell you that an experienced dispatcher would stay on the line with a client only long enough to verify the pick-up info. It is clear to me that AS was having a difficult time thinking clearly at both 4:23am and at 4:37am when she called back. For me, there's only one explanation, and it is not that she was simply emotional.--Cab Guy
With this, perhaps she WAS confused between the Circle K and AMPM. She wasn't at AMPM, so???
I'm also wondering if neighbors were interviewed. Was the party loud until 5 am or did it die out long before? Did it look like the "usual suspects" in terms of who these girls regularly let into their home?
Lastly, as being THE 19 year old party girl way back when (and I'm not saying AS was that type), I can tell you that friends brought friends who brought friends to house parties. There was ALWAYS people I had never seen before in a ~50 person party.
