I have no idea what to think right now. In my gut, I'm thinking there was not THAT much evidence in this case presented for them to be discussing it THIS LONG (b/c the crime itself spanned only a few minutes). Basically, they have to go through Chrisman and Virgillo's stories. They have to go through forensic testimony, including gun shot wounds and injuries to Daniel. They have to go through the taser and pepper spray evidence and Afids evidence. Look at bike. Those should be the main things. Instructions. I don't really see what could be taking this long, unless some division and they just can't come to an agreement.

I think you are probably right. I would think that in 12 hours, they could have been able to conclude whether Chrisman was guilty or not. Cynically speaking, he walks on murder 2, but guilty of Ag assault and killing the dog.

OMG, someone died here. I am totally aghast at their behavior. Sorry, JMO. A modicum of decorum is warranted. That would be the judge's responsibility wouldn't it? To remind them of their manners? :stormingmad:

I agree, but I hope it is just a "put on." There really are not millions watching this case, so I would expect at least normal faces. Not happy, I hope that tweets are just coming out all wrong.

This is a murder case. A dead person for no reason.

How old are these jurors? Decorum should be an issue, not for the younger ones, there is none anymore, but lets say 45 and above know.

I hope it is like going to the "retirement home" where all act happy when they see you. Take a turn down the hall and double back, they are sitting there sad as can be.

(Arm in arm does suggest some leaning on each other. And also some separation of the 12. Too long a trial again, imo.)

ETA: Along with televised. Everyone thinks they will make $$ afterward, or the young hope they will become a star...

The trial started on 8/7 and was scheduled to go until 9/18, so if you look at it this way we are ahead of schedule. lol :truce:

Remember tweet about Elvira crying this morning? Well, we didn't know then that the jury has MAYBE been sending questions/notes we don't know about...so do you think they sent some question that was leaning towards defense, that's why Elvira crying?

I thought all questions had to be on the record. RCA doesn't have to be there, but don't the attorneys have to be there? Maybe the Trial Divas are mistaken and the judge was just talking to them and wishing them a simply fabulous weekend.
