I keep seeing the square footage as 3800? Yeah, my house is a 1 1/2 story with a very similar layout. I cannot hear anything from my daughter's room in the back corner of the house.

FWIW, ABC and CBS and affiliates are reporting the square footage of the house is 2,300. Sounds much more like it to me. Always wondered how the house could be 3,800 sq ft.

I feel JM is a blood Uncle to Sergio Isa and perhaps a half-brother to Sergio based solely by their last names.

Sergio and JM have many of the same features, at least to me.

Is it possible JM is an uncle by marriage....sister of Sergio or Becky married to him. Or if an uncle to either parents, the same situation. The last name would be different and no "look alike".

Do we know how many sisters Sergio or Becky have??

IDK about any money owed being a motive. But I do believe that no group of people is all the same. Some good. Some not so much..... JMO

You're right. There is nothing on earth that is 100% ~ excepting death and taxes. But there are some things that are more likely than not.

IMO Isa was gone from the property before the neighbor heard voices at 6:30am. I think whoever (I have an opinion of who, not parents) did something to her, called someone for help then removed her from the house and came back to try to make it look like a kidnapping and that is what the neighbor heard. All my opinion, crazy speculation, based on no facts, etcetera.....

Isa was scheduled to play in a ball game that morning, yeah? Maybe JM was there for that...like maybe he was gonna have breakfast with the family and then travel to the game with them. I didn't play club sports as a kid, but I think if I did that would've been a huge treat for me. :)

May today be Isa's day!

He does say he came over as soon as he heard. Not that he came by at the scheduled time and found out then.

I don't believe JM is married.

We do not know how many brothers or sisters for either parent.

To add to that thought, the property records for the 2 story house across the street (5601) shows it is 3592 sq. ft. There is no way Celis home is 3802 sq. ft. I see errors in county property records for whatever reason. Just hope taxes aren't calculated by the number of sq. ft. If so, someone is paying too much!!

Thanks.

Becky's brother may not have known anything about who was searching for her before 911 was called. He may have arrived at the home later after LE was called?

Or did the Becky's brother say he arrived before they called 911?

thanks

Becky's brother, who is visibly obviously NOT JM, said he was not there that day and he did not knock on doors or search or speak to press. He did not say he arrived before 911 or after 911. He did not say he came at all that day. I do not believe he is "local".

Becky's brother got a phone call at work to let him know that Isa was missing. Considering Isa's mother was at work, and she received a phone call, "time unknown" so I guess they went down the line with relatives once Becky was informed.

Thank you, so he wouldnt know who was out searching for Isa before 911 was called, imo.

IMO

Thanks for the link to the interview, White Rabbit. To answer your question, the uncle is not a POI, and therefore it's not okay to post his personal information beyond what is reported in MSM.

You can discuss his statements. You can post your impression of him, and your interpretation of his statements. That's fine. Just keep it reasonable. Here's a guideling to consider before posting: if asked to explain your opinion, can you provide a MSM link that supports it? If no, then you should probably reconsider posting it.

Sorry, I didn't know JM wasn't married. I also have not seen anything about the brothers and sisters. The only thing mentioned yesterday at the interview was a "godmother", that I remember.

ETA...Other than Becky's brother doing the interview.

That is what I am thinking also. I don't think the family would take the time to say who knocked on whose door etc., etc. So when he answered it, it was pretty clear that is was not aware of it, rather then it never happened.

I really think the parents were honest when they said no one was there with them the night Isa went missing.
The parents said no one was in the home with them the night Isa went missing?? I missed that. Was it in the interview they did yesterday with local press?

My son looks exactly like one of my brothers. You can't really decide one's relationship based on looks.

ONLY if you have time. :blowkiss:

Oh it did not take long. I remember the discussion well, as CN2 souls linked the PIMA County site where you can walk around better than Google maps. I am there now, the pics are from 2010, and I cannot see any evidence of a camera on that roof. JMO maybe I need better glasses.

The discussion Patty mentions about the county assessor having wrong floorplans for Celis home was in thread five.

Ok, Call me Crazy but I think this is the house across the street from Isa House.

Don't know why County has it as Isa's...

Check it out...

I understand that going by looks is not an accurate form of determing "who is who" in the family. I personally feel Sergio & JM are on the same side of the family. JMO

JM didn't just speak one time, to one news source. He spoke multiple times with different news agencies. And every single one has him identified as an "uncle," info that would have come from him. So whether he's her uncle or not, he's identifying himself as such.

His interview with KGUN on that Saturday shows him being VERY active in the search on the very Saturday she went missing. Here's the video and article:

http://www.kgun9.com/news/local/148384415.html

Here he is talking to ABC News:

http://gma.yahoo.com/missing-arizona-girl-search-intensifies-k-9s-clue-143603524--abc-news-topstories.html

Here he is talking to CBS on Sunday. Please watch this video. He is actually seen talking with LE and directing them with a pointed finger:

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505263_162-57418751/suspicious-circumstances-at-home-of-isabel-mercedes-celis-missing-ariz-girl/

He also spoke to KVOA, and I'm sure to other stations, too. This was just from a quick search.

Point: He was the "spokesperson" over multiple days, and seemed to be everywhere, handing out fliers, giving interviews, directing LE. And these are all different interviews, not one taped appearance.

And I firmly believe that was him at the neighbor's door at 8 a.m. asking about Isabel, aka what had she seen or heard?

NG and JVM reported that he used to live in the home.

I think the parents unwittingly let a predator in...

What puzzles me is how the uncle/cousin got there from wherever he supposedly was Friday night by 8:05am Sat. Isn't that supposedly when he was knocking on the neighbor's door? *

Instead, I suspect it was a busy night at the Celis house. I think uncle/cousin arrived sometime in the night to 'help' with things.

I still think that maybe JM spent at least part of the night in the red, non-operative car. The police did take into evidence some pillows and other items from that car. Totally MOO.

The neighbor said that someone came to her door looking for Isa at 8am. She was later told by LE that he was Isa's uncle. Sleuths have determined he is a cousin by marriage. Regardless, the 911 call had not even been made yet at that time. Rebecca had not yet returned from work. IOW, he was there within minutes of Sergio discovering Isa missing. Some have speculated that he stayed over, possibly in the car from which blankets and pillows were seized. It is also rumored that he lived with the family at some point during 2011.

I thought a lot about SC's comment that no one stayed the night, and really have no decent reason to think that anyone did, I had assumed Uncle Cousin did. BUT picture this (lol): Uncle Cousin seems to be a pretty hands on type guy when it comes to this family from comments made by him and photos we have seen. We know there was a ballgame, we know it was a late Friday night with an early Saturday morning to follow. If we assume that Uncle Cousin was at the game he may have come back to the house, I am also assuming that he is like my brother was when my boys were kids, he would be at my house, in and out all the time, often going out and getting home at unGodly hours and crashing on the couch and leaving before we were up the next morning. So lets just assume that Uncle Cousin is that kinda guy - not committed anywhere, hangs out at games etc because family do that. He comes home and chats with everyone while they are getting ready for bed, SC eventually goes to bed and may just mention to Uncle Cousin he is going to hit the hay, Uncle Cousin says yeah I'll be leaving soon. SC wakes up in the morning, Uncle Cousin is not in the house at that stage but arrives not long after. Sc assumes that he did leave and has come back to attend Isabel's game that morning, so to him "only the family were there" when really Uncle Cousin was there but said he was leaving. He may have left too - just not alone. When he comes back Isa is missing and he kicks into search mode.

Police ask SC of the events he explains what he knows and then adds that Uncle Cousin was there ready for that game and immediately starts canvasing the neighbourhood.

This is not a Moo - this is just a maybe senario.
