Gotta love news reporting in Tucson. "Breaking News: DES: Celis children not in CPS custody"
KOLD.com banner.
ETA: ""The Department can confirm that CPS is working closely with law enforcement to ensure the continued safety of the children," said Tasya C. Peterson, DES Director of Communications. "At the present time, the children are not in CPS custody." (bold mine)

I didnt expect the children to be in the custody of CPS.
These two boys have suffered a very traumatic event and so has the parents so it only makes sense they are helping the family and are probably think both the parents and the children need therapy to deal with all of this.
This doesnt come as some big shocker to me for them to be involved. CPS has been called in to assist other families in other cases especially if there are other children in the home that are having to deal with the shock of losing a sibling.
Now if the boys were taken from the parents that would be another matter but they havent been and imo, they wont be.
Becky did say that one of their sons was taken this hard so maybe they showed their sadness and depression when they returned to school and that is why CPS has stepped up their involvement. They could have simply broke down and cried hysterically at school or told the teacher that one of their parents cries all the time.
If they thought the parents were involved in Isa's disappearance they would have taken this opportunity to remove the children out of the home........they could have made up some reason to do so but they didnt remove them and that speaks volumes to me.
I think all the family is having a difficult time and I think the school noticed how hard the children are taking it and CPS thinks the family needs guidance.
IMO
