We have talked about this in the Baby Lisa and Caylee Anthony cases but I can't recall. How long does a a body have to be deceased before a cadaver dog will hit?

Minutes from memory. Once dead, and even in teh dying process, the body starts eliminating gases. I would love our resident specialist to chime in

Dogs can alert to where a body was before being moved. Cadavar dogs are usually also trained for missing persons - different commands and different alerts, so saying a cadavar dog made a hit doesn't always mean a dead body.

My list of possible POI's


1. The young teenage boy who was going to the Celis' house with his father, and was caught by the reporters video. Reason : his glance at the LEO standing by the Celis' house. Something made me very uneasy.Can't say what. Also, his proximity to Isabel's house.

2. The "uncle" . I guess based on the possibility that he may have had access to Isabel that night... Has a history of drug and alchohol related problems.

3. CM . Had acess to Isabel that night.

4. RSO or unregistered SO.

5. The "creeper " in the night video by Office Max

JUST MY OPINION.

Not that I don't believe teen boys commit these crimes, because they do, but they are not very good at hiding bodies, or evidence. She probably would have been found very close to the house...JMO

Uh... Are they keeping the husband and wife separated? Or just questioning them separately??

There was no indication that LE is keeping the family seperated; just that one family member at a time went into the house with the investigators.

Jane's Sr. Producer is saying father in the house with investigators for about an hour, then leaves, three minutes later mother goes in with detectives about an hour, then leaves. Then older son goes in same scenerio and leaves.

A detective took what appears to be a blanket and wrapped it in a towel, if I heard her correctly.

It's hard to type what is being said, when I still have the earlier "stuff" in my head that was reporter by HLN and made no sense.

LE must have something new, IMO, to do this in-home visit almost 2 weeks later, in this way...they certainly would have gone over everything with each person before now...JMO

Jane/Issues just showed a bit of today's press conference, so that shows me HLN heard what was stated at the presser.

I don't know...the press is outside their house. LE has questioned the parents before and we did not see that on camera-they could have easily sent an undercover car to pick them up and get them in a back door.

I think there is a chance it was a stranger abduction too though, especially in light of the other intruder assault.

I thought they werent in front of the home and the police said they were going to ride by there to make sure the home was secure?

With the family staying just a block away from his home with his parents, I dont think it would have been possible to get by the media and not be swamped.

The main thing I am thankful of is they gave them police protection to and from their home so that the media wouldnt push a camera in their face or have curiosity seekers trying to get near them. The media will not approach if the police is with them.

I actually think it IS a stranger abduction or maybe someone familiar with the neighborhood. We have read about numerous cases like the man who invaded the home where the three girls were staying.

So even if it is not connected it just shows it happens more often than we may think, imo. And some perps either molest the child in the home or take them out then rape them but let them live and then we have numerous cases where the predator took the young child out of their bedroom that raped and murdered them elsewhere.

I love ya' Gut but this is exactly what I mean by conjecture being treated as fact. Where has it ever been reported by MSM or LE that JM was right there after Isabel was reported missing?

A neighbor reported that the dad and an uncle came by her house that morning but we don't know what uncle, whose uncle, nothing. And JM's interview appeared to given at least 24 hours after Isabel went missing.

If I am wrong, please correct me because if it can be shown that indeed, he was there right after she was reported missing, that is not rumor, that's an important fact.

.. and I love you too. But my answer was to explain how people may be thinking that. It is assumed the media spoke at a pretty early period initially - you know what they are like, child missing on scanner and everyone is there before the PIO has brushed his teeth and had breakfast.

There is no proof to my knowledge that Uncle JM was the same one that approached the neighbours, but no other uncle has been mentioned. i was just hazarding guesses as to why people may be thinking one and the same uncle.

The brother was reported going to a store too, we could say the same, whose brother? isas? Mums? Dads? The brother could infact be the uncle, but immediately it was assumed it was Isas brother.

Purely speculation my friend, i am not trying to make up senarios or anything. I do kinda wish that reporters would ask the questions to clear things up though. And we all know LE and Media read here.

So far from that extended family we have seen one so called uncle and a grandparent.

It's possible that LE has gone over everything with the family outside of the home. However, IMO, they have gone back in with one family member at a time and went over earlier statements and reenactments etc.

OT- but with so many of the children-taken-from-the-home still missing...there is no way to know if these are true abductions or something more internal and sinister...I can think of Aliyah, Ayla, Haleigh, Lisa, back to Baby Sabrina and probably others...we don't know that any of these were real kidnappings. JMO

Patty I thought I heard the detective wrapped up something from her trunk in a Beach towel and took it in the house. And than later it looked like someone carried a blanket or comforter from the house.

He never referenced himself, it was a general "you" so I fail to see how that became more about himself, as someone mentioned earlier. He may or may not be involved, but at this point it's all speculation.
And yes, we do need to be careful about rumors evolving into facts, which seems to happen in most cases.

His use of the word "you" included his own personal experience with this tragedy. Where was his concern for Isabel? He knew about her disappearance and that she is only six years old, but concern for her wasn't crossing his mind at this time.

Personally, I think LE was perhaps getting inconsistent stories from everyone in the house so they decided to take them individually to walk through what happened that night...

In my opinion, the 'you' was a reference to how SOMEONE feels when this happens to them. He was referring to HIMSELF, imo. :

It seems to me that in all of the bolded portions above, he is referring to HIMSELF, how HE FEELS in this situation.

I see no references to Isabella at all. NONE.

a) the teenage kid had help from an adult in hiding Isabel

b) She may well still be found close to the house

How can the police haul someone back when they clearly said they did not have a search warrant and the family went back to the home willingly to meet with LE?:waitasec:

I think LE just needs to give up on trying to put rumor fires out. The media is going to twist it like a pretzel anyway and so will the internet. lol
