Just a few minutes in, she discusses the juror issue. Two jurors had a conversation. I don't know if it occurred during a sidebar/white noise break but I'm thinking it might have (because the judge said something to that effect before the microphone cut out for a recess). Megan might elaborate later but she said no jurors were removed. Whew.

ETA conversation between two jurors about SS.

I couldn't fathom what point LVD was trying to get to with the SS agent when she kept harping on if there were 2 women collecting SS benefits from the deceased husband.
LVD made it sound like 2 wives, one ex and one current were both collecting death benefits from a diseased husband.
Not that the ex was collecting her ex-husband's higher SS security after being married to him for 10 + yrs then he remarried and died and that wife was collecting death benefits.
She wanted more payouts

I wondered too.

I thought maybe she was trying to normalize it, like it's something anyone married 10 years would be entitled to, so she wouldn't look like the money grabbing grub she has proven herself to be.

Laughable. LVD tells the judge she'll review some papers -- says she'll "try" -- if she has time.

Ha.

ALL she has is time. Couple's three life sentences. But those aside, it's not like she's GOING OUT for lunch. Eat your box meal, Lor. You have time. Read up.

Since that is the case what is the point of going through with this trial?

Heated.

LVD trying very hard to get Tylee's story from this witness. Rapid fire objections from the State, including "violation of a pre-trial agreement" (iiuc). LVD asks for a sidebar. Denied.

I think if she wants Tylee's statement in, then it's only fair for the jury to know that she had her killed.

Because CV deserves his justice too.

She needs to be held accountable for everything she's done.

As expensive as it is, as obnoxious as she is.

The question really should be asked of her -- why? She's already never getting out of prison, despite her "visions".

But we know why -- trials are drama. And she's at the center. She loves it.

Demented.

I don't know if I'm an outlier, but I fully believe that Lori was hands on in killing both her children. Yes, I think Alex was the muscle, but I think Lori watched it happen, maybe even performed a killing action, like stabbing Tylee, like taping the bag on JJ's head as Alex restrained him. I see so much rage in the deaths of both children. Her rage.

She's basically a serial killer or serial conspirator and should be on death row. Her fellow inmates aren't even safe from her if she sees demons in them. And she says she will help and be of service to them. Maybe teach them how to cast out those demons the way she does. What a joke and waste of space. JMOO

She clarifies the jury situation.

One juror commented, about the SS testimony, that the amount was high. Another juror said he had an appointment for his own SS issue.

Judge talked to each of them separately. Each reported the same. Judge polled the juror with his own SS issues to determine whether they would in any way impact his ability to be impartial.

Judge was satisfied.

No jurors lost.

As I think about LVD's questions for the medical examiner today, she kept asking questions so clinically, which is why I almost didn't realize it was LVD.

She is really enjoying her "Perry Mason" moment. To her own determinant. She was coldly asking in detail about the bullet wounds on Charles Vallow. Not a hint of sadness, or caring. She was married to him, and acted like she was just enjoying her questions for the ME.

That resonated with me today. Only a stone cold psychopath could talk about entry and exit wounds on "the body", for God sakes, you were married to the man! Show some emotions!!! None. Except her smirk and twirl, feeling like she was an awesome attorney.

Like any serial offender, getting to relive her crime is a thrill, and doing it while in front of an audience is deeply pleasurable. Have you ever seen footage of Bundy questioning the first responders to the Chi Omega crime scene in court? He's clearly getting off on it.

No, she said that it was Adam's picture with a different name.
Was it his DJ radio name," Lukas"?

I'm curious when Megan Connor, his cousin, said she will be addressing what he said about her on his podcast "Silver Lining" is she's planning on addressing this?
AC said people are telling him that MC is capitalizing on the family tragedy, plans to or has written a book and he said that 99% of what she says about the family is not correct.
Three months before CV's death AC published a book about a woman who died in a water contest he and 2 other co-hosts put on for their radio station.

MY CRAZY RADIO LIFE

by Adam Cox (Author)

"Have you ever been investigated for a death? I was, I couldn’t believe why. It’s all in the book."

"If you have ever listened to a DJ on the radio, this book will change the way you listen!"

"I was fired, lost everything, dealt with depression, and still came out on top!"
