IMO the State is doing a GREAT job building the case for premeditation and conspiracy.

State isn't vmaking this claim but I will -- LVD was playing a long game. Played T against CV. Played AlexC against CV. Made CV out to be the bad guy. By manipulating everyone around HER.

This is really their case in chief, having had to present LVD's version in order to explain how LVD wasn't looked at a suspect initially. They got out in front of it and are now full steam ahead going to lay her out flat.

I got the feeling this witness was going to expose that, that LVD was using and manipulating CV's emails but he stopped short of that. Maybe left to the jury to infer?

How did LVD have time to brush her teeth?-- she was writing, producing and starring in her own melodrama around the clock, it would appear. A million moving parts and her thumb on all of them.

I love how the State is laying it out.

If jurors have any doubts about the murder, the State is revealing the conspiracy. And why would someone innocent of that murder go to such great lenghts ahead of time to set it up?

Never mind that, if she had no hand in it and suddenly CV is dead at her brother's hand, why didn't she fall at his knees in gratitude that he couldn't hurt her anymore (as if) or more naturally cry out in shock?

Ah but she wasn't surprised. She set it in motion.

Since LE did a download of CV's phone, I assume they would have been able to tell whether there had been a recording following CV's 7:37 am text to Adam followed by a deletion of that recording in the subsequent hours (although I don't know whether they'd be able to gain access to the content of such a deleted recording).

Sure would like to know.

But I very much suspect that CV was ambushed - shot immediately after he entered LVD's rental home. CV may not even have taken his cellphone into the house. All the GPS evidence about CV's phone simply places the phone "in the area of the house."

We know from the Morphew case that investigators can use triangulation of cellphone tower connections to pinpoint exact location of a cellphone within certain distances. I'd expect that a heavily populated area like Chandler/Gilbert, AZ would have plenty of cell towers, so that triangulation would be even more exact than the sparsely populated area where Suzanne Morphew was murdered. But AFAIK, cell tower connection evidence relating to CV's phone has not been introduced - just GPS location data from the phone itself.

I wonder how closely CD can follow this trial, and what his children are making of it. I have never considered that Jo Ryan may have been another victim, but taking JJ to breakfast and school, the pool party-the violent death of her husband of 15 years was just nothing to her.
