Lori is going toe to toe with this witness. Do you believe you've done everything there is to do to investigate this case? When you haven't tested the bat or the gun?

I kinda think the luminol line of questioning is good and I didn't understand why that wasn't done anyway. But AZ dropped the ball all the way around.

LVD: wouldn't luminoling the bat be important?

So it looks like the trial is done with evidence. Closing arguments Monday.

Wow, defense rests. She put up no defense AGAIN.

After seeing CD's steamy messages to LVD, I'm wondering if LVD considered him to be the whole green chile chicken enchilada.

I'm see myself out.
You're killing me. I just laughed beer up my nose.

Lori is actually asking the question we've all been thinking -- why didn't anyone investigate this case?
I've been peeved at the officers who showed up to the scene for just ignoring any evidence and taking Alex C and giggling Lori's story. If this murder had been properly investigated, those two kids would be alive right now.

There were only two people bleeding. I don’t see how using Luminol on the bat would have added anything to either side. If there was Alex’s blood, it would even mean that his story was true. I do agree that the bat should have been microscopically screened for hair/skin etc. but even so, it doesn’t add to the case of conspiracy and Charles is dead and it doesn’t alter the time line either. Perhaps if Alex was still alive, the evidence presented would have been different.

I'm guessing the x-rated texts between LVD and CD were suppressed as overly prejudicial.

I've never been so grateful in my life.

And perhaps that’s why Moffat didn’t testify.

As to the bat, let's ask CV. Oh, wait.
Let's ask AlexC. Oh, wait.
Let's ask T. Oh, wait.

Lori did a lot of talking but did she make a single point? Well, besides, how in the world did they not investigate further?

She should have been arrested then.

I predictva verdict by day's end tomorrow.

Lori is collecting life sentences like they're charms.

So the prosecution rested? Thats it? I had changed my vote today when I heard from others about this mornings testimony. Now i am doubtful again. Investigation was really inadequate. I am back on the fence. Not sure of a conviction. Wow!

I think the verdict will be fast. But not sure of a guilty verdict.

I hate that this has to go into next week for the jurors, who I KNOW want to be done with this and could probably give us a verdict in 3 hours but maybe it'll go quick on Monday.🤞
