Reading over everyone's comments about the time line, it shows how much Lori has emotionally distanced herself from JJ and Tylee. She didn't take JJ into school, left the kids in the car at the Walgreens stop. Small nuances, but it is showing how much she distanced herself from the kids.

It is not known whether TD ever opened or saw the emails CV sent to inform her about the affair, although her account did block receipt of any additional emails from CV's account. AFAIK, no one testified that TD spoke to them about those emails.

The thought among many is that Chad intercepted the emails and deleted them before TD could see them. It is unfortunate that CV gave LVD a few hours advance notice that he was going to send them and that he told her after he did send them as surely LVD must have told Chad and he got to them before TD could.

CV seriously underestimated LVD's deviousness.

Apparently, Charles Vallow sent it to her work email. It was read, and then Tammy Daybell blocked "Charles Vallow" and deleted the email. She never mentioned it to anyone. The computer tech for the school district retrieved it for the trial.

I wonder if he was thinking of divorce or actually filed? Because he changed his beneficiary months before he died. And if he had filed for divorce, the lawyer is obligated by law to notify the other party. And Lori didn’t know.
If she knew he had filed for divorce, it makes sense he would change the beneficiary and Lori is smart enough to know that. If she knew, then why kill him?
It couldn’t have interfered with a marriage to Chad as she had already been divorced three times.

CV did file for divorce in February and petitioned for custody of JJ - BUT around 1st of March he petitioned to withdraw the divorce petition and that was approved on 3/6 or 3/8 I think. He told someone (maybe Adam) that he just wanted to try to save his marriage. And at some point LVD went to TX for several weeks - perhaps as much as 2 months - I can’t recall. She told someone (maybe MG) that she had to go to TX to straighten out her finances or financial future or something like that. Then at some point they decided it wasn’t going to work & LVD should come back to AZ to get JJ in his summer school where he was comfortable. I’m not sure exactly when she returned or where she stayed but she was back a little bit before CV rented the house in Chandler for her and the kids just weeks before he was murdered. According to Nancy Jo, CV was going to see about getting a place in AZ so he could be with JJ but either he had or was going to file for divorce again. Sadly, he never got the chance to be with JJ or to get the divorce.

So the prosecution rested? Thats it? I had changed my vote today when I heard from others about this mornings testimony. Now i am doubtful again. Investigation was really inadequate. I am back on the fence. Not sure of a conviction. Wow!

I think the closing arguments are going to be the ticket for a guilty verdict. The state will wrap it up with a bow in a nice cohesive package.
LVDs closing will be more blaming Tylee, and bs about CV being violent and how her brother acted in self defense which the evidence did NOT show despite her saying it would in her opening.

Interesting that LVD and AC are talking about the intervention planned by CV and Adam.

But HOW did LVD know? Multiple choice:

1. Adam or CV was sharing that information with someone else who was sharing it with Lori.
2. Lori had access to CV's emails or text messages, perhaps through "sharing" of those files from one of more of CV's devices with a laptop? (So LVD had a portal CV was unaware of.)

Pretty sure that’s #1. I wish I could remember where because I’m also pretty sure I’ve heard Adam say he didn’t tell anyone in the family BUT in a previous interview or perhaps an early one of his & Rex’s podcast, I know I heard him say he did. And guess who he told? He told his mom so I’m pretty sure LVD found out from Janice - or perhaps from Summer if Janice told her instead telling LVD directly.

It was a powerful testimony today, even if the jury really has no previous knowledge, this was hard and creepy. Pure conspiracy. And with other actors involved. I think Prosecution left enough doubts re Tylee, JJ, why no statement from Alex etc.
