It's still live.
Everyone is checking in with Nate, Wood, Ray , family and juror footage.

@ 32:00 juror footage.
Tash, one of the jurors who spoke told Nate that she was the only LDS on the jury.
Karl says more but the volume stinks on so much of the jurors comments, he highlighted Ray;s closing.

I listened three times.

He hadn't heard of LVD before being selected for jury.

But the other part? He said when he was driving home last night he was thinking she's spending the next three lifes [sic] in a cell.

Is this the kind of thing that can throw a verdict?

Ugh
IMO yes - it is serious juror misconduct and could cause a mistrial since it didn’t come out until after the verdict it leaves no other cure for the infraction - that is they cannot simply remove him and use an alternate

I thought it would be a mistrial?
Could be mistrial now since trial is over and there is no other remedy - but maybe not if it could be determined that the same verdict would have been reached - still a serious juror infraction either that he researched it or watched the news or accidentally heard it because he should have informed the judge and the judge and attorneys would have had a hearing or at least a sidebar to determine whether or not to remove him from the jury and we would have known if that happened

I just put Nate on and am curious if he'll mention it.
If he does I'll timestamp it.
Can’t watch Nate tonight so please let us know if he mentions it & what was said. I want to hear a lawyer weigh in on this but I think it’s a pretty serious issue.

@ 1:12:20 Nate gets a question from an upset fan about the male juror and he addresses that and also that yesterday he said that the jurors found out or were told about LVD.
It's out there.

I don't understand what he means when asked about LVD defending herself and says "what did she have to lose, guilty or not guilty?"
If he didn't know about her 3 life terms she could have been found not guilty and walked out of the courthouse.

@4:40 he said yesterday was not -guilty then he changed his mind after Ray's closing and looked LVD up today.
??

Our families should know by now not to disturb us during the reading of a verdict. My husband walked in all chatty and I increased the volume.
Oh Bam! Don't you know it!! ☺️

I’m hearing conflicting reports but the best I can tell either the jurors were informed inside the court today after being released from their admonition and duty - so my guess would be if that is the case, the judge informed them when he was thanking them in the juror room - or they were informed by a reporter or someone else outside the courthouse as they walked out - either way it is totally acceptable for the to have all the info they want and speak to whomever about whatever once they have been released from jury duty and the comments of this juror could be construed to be from finding out after being released.

Comments from the other juror…I was thinking while driving home yesterday…cannot be taken to have found out today after being released. I’m not sure where that interview was - apparently it was on the Fox 10 live feed but not sure where they were speaking to the juror but it looked to me like he might have been getting ready to get in his car and leave - so there is no way he misspoke and meant driving home today or driving over here today after court if he hadn’t even gotten in his car yet. I think someone in the WS live chat said that he said he heard it on the radio but if he did then he should have informed the court this morning and the way they were being so careful not to let in the information about her convictions I am 99.99% sure if the judge knew it, he would have removed the juror and told them to start deliberations over with an alternate.

By stipulating, she has hampered her ability to appeal (not that I care). But, secondarily, she has in fact admitted her guilt after saying she was not guilty.

I agree that it was her narcissism that led her. Happy that it is one more down and the jury didn't have to do any more work but I do want for this murdress to not be able to get any advantage because she could claim ignorance. Thank goodness the judge made her confer with her team.
You said it perfectly.

By stipulating:

1. She has hampered her ability to appeal (not that I care).

2. Secondarily, she has in fact admitted her guilt after saying she was not guilty (reluctantly).

3. She stopped others from reading their letters or having their say. Now they will have to wait till the Brandon trial is over.

No.
My guess? They made their decision last night but wanted to sleep on it.

This has happened in quite a few cases with jurors in high profile cases and in the end the guilty verdict held.
What concerns me about this guy is he was undecided so when and where did he hear about her 3 life sentences yesterday?
I'm guessing they voted during those 19 minutes they were together yesterday.

I never thought it would be possible for a jury to be found that had never heard of LVD. Not after all the headlines for years. I find it pretty surprising that they came pretty close.

They wouldn't be released from the judge's instructions though.
I have a feeling that they may have discussed the missing children and wondered if they are deceased?
JJ was referred to by LVD as being in the past and where was Tylee and it's none of our business..lol

imo

Tash the one juror who spoke said she moved to Arizona 2 yrs ago and never heard of her/case.
That makes sense, especially being young.

I'm surprised not one juror came across LVD scanning Netflix.
