I only heard the one interruption by the judge mentioning his court reporter would soon need a break. But, after the first hour and ten minutes, she was losing me.

Most of the jurors/alternates are men. If I know one thing from having 30-plus years to chat with my husband (friends, contractors working on my house), it is that men are not particularly amenable to listening attentively to long, drawn-out, uninterrupted argument. Patience might be a virtue, but that doesn't mean it's prevalent.
The three of Tylee and JJ were sustained. Don’t know what they were.

I think LVD lost the jury at "the gun was fired, LE was called..."

They aren't going to forget 47 minutes m

She really is quite dumb encouraging the jurors to watch her full interview.
The footage they've already seen works against her.
The judge had said that what was edited out was "hearsay".
What I don't get is why would the jury have access to an unedited
video version to watch if it wasn't entered as evidence?

imo

I'm shocked Treena on re-direct was able to say the TR & AC also didn't cry in their interviews and had 47 mins for the 3 to get their story straight.

Hopefully it will be reported on the jury make-up.
It was 2 women 12 men.

Shocking, but I believe that is exactly what they all did. JMOO

IMO she didn't need to mention Tylee. She's was a child.

It implied she was part of the conspiracy but again, she was a child. She's not a major character.

I'm happy with the closing. Lots of damning evidence to choose from, and she laid it well. Will be shocked if not a guilty verdict.

I was surprised she went there. But whatever the explanation is for why TR did so, she did in fact lie to LE.

The jury doesn't have the unedited version. IMO, LVD has been trying this whole time to get the jury to believe that the State and LE planned some conspiracy against her. She's hoping the jury will try to watch the "full" version, realize it's been edited, and blame the State, thinking that they must be hiding something and withholding information that would exonerate her.

I 100% think this will backfire on her, though. Those interviews are some of the strongest pieces of evidence against her, IMO. They show by her own words and actions that she was not shocked by what happened and that she had nothing but contempt for CV, and they will drive home for the jury even more how her story doesn't match the evidence and simply doesn't make sense.

Was glad to see Treena get a little feisty in her rebuttal closing. Hoping jurors feel just as feisty when they resume deliberations tomorrow.

LVD behaves like a middle school “mean girl” but as an adult with deadly consequences. Mean to Charles, mean to Charles’ sons after his death, mean to Kay by FedExing cremains without notification they were coming, mean to Colby to whom she originally lied about how Charles died, mean to her brother Adam, mean to women she had invited into her home, mean to her entire extended family upon which she practiced divide and conquer, mean and snippy to this Court because the judge did not surrender control to her, and mean to Alex whom she recruited by exploiting his concern for his own soul.

Surely the jurors know it.

Thank you.
I found it all so confusing.

Treena is responding forcefully and effectively to dismiss LVD’s claims in her closing statements.

IMO she didn't need to mention Tylee. She's was a child.

It implied she was part of the conspiracy but again, she was a child. She's not a major character.

Yet she was forced to do the bidding of her mom. If that’s what Treena had, then use it.

I like Megan Conner's take that they picked a foreperson and due to all they have to begin going through they headed home.

I'd rather have them start fresh tomorrow.

Oh my gosh! She sent his remains without notifying his sons or Kay? I didn’t know that.

BBM:

I've been wondering if after LVD married CD Tylee had had enough and became a threat to her mother's lies.
If TR told anyone about the lies she told LE I bet it was to her grandmother Cox.

IMO, TR was instructed to lie after the fact, when she would feel trapped by the fact that CV had already been shot. LVD was likely telling her what she had to say about waking to hearing CV scream at her mother “”with a beet red face,” introducing the bat and having CV take it from her and use it to threaten both her and LVD with it. And the calls with AlexC were likely to compare notes to ensure their stories matched.

LVD knew TR would be motivated to keep what remained of her family intact and her Uncle Al out of jail. All several months into Lori’s craziness and drama about the approaching doomsday and LVD’s antics to ensure everyone around her closed ranks against CV and anyone who gave him the benefit of doubt.

I have no doubt that TR suffered immeasurably from the lies and associated isolation her mother forced upon her that day.

ETA: I can’t help but think of the photos of the four of them at Yellowstone - TR who looked like she had the weight of the world on her shoulders but also much love for JJ, JJ who looked happy to be on a family outing in big Sis’s arms, and the two ghouls LVD and AlexC carrying out yet another deadly and horrendous plan against innocents.

Lost in this fray, do we know how Tylee's father died?

Tylee was killed months before Lori and Chad got married. She didn't like Chad.
