IMO 100% made up. Which neither admitted to the other either. That's just a guess on my part.

What's not a guess -- anybody and everybody near LVD and CD is near death.

I seriously hope LE is revisiting every death near these two.

They're like hospice cat, the both of them, only instead of having an uncanny perception of pending death, they are causing death wherever they go.

Utterly conscienceless.

She probably never mentioned her NDE to Chad either and made it up for her trial.

IMO:
Without claiming to have had an NDE one remains a run of the mill Mormon.

'History'

"From the earliest days of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the present, accounts of near-death or out-of-body experiences have been shared from pulpits—even in the general conferences of the Church, published in official Church publications, discussed in formal Church settings like Sunday School classes as well as in informal settings among friends and neighbors. This historical connection to the phenomenon gives a semblance of credibility and acceptance. No wonder books written by near-death experiencers and those seeking to interpret and give meaning to such experiences, whether authored by members or not, are very popular among Latter-day Saints."

Context. That is a finding over 50 years ago. Not correct for current LDS culture or mainstream.

Might be true for "fringe" groups. But LVD and CD were definitely their own separate "fringe" group, that had absolutely nothing to do with being LDS, as evidenced by CD's excommunication by the LDS church.

And speaking of NDE - this is an interesting site.

She might not have mentioned NDEs, but (according to MG) she did claim early on that she saw Jesus in person.

Yeah, her visual and audio hallucinations of angels, spirits and Jesus were present very early on. Back around the time of the breakdown of her marriage to Joe Ryan, if she's to be believed, which, well. It's Lori. As ever, there's the eternal debate of what is a lie, what is mental illness, and what is extreme belief.

IIRC..Maroni too, but he was in the Temple and according to her killer husband she had been married to Maroni.
She sure gets around, eh?

Moroni is an angel. He was the last prophet of The Book of Mormon. If you ever drive past an LDS temple and see the golden angel on top blowing the horn - that's Moroni.

The woman has no shame. Or conscience. Bringing up the daughter she killed, for money, in a sentencing hearing for a husband she killed for money.

I know, she is convicted of "conspiracy". But it wouldn't surprise me if she had killed them all. With her "stooge", AC doing the dirty work at her bidding.
I agree. I think Lori defintely killed Tylee and JJ and Charles too.

According to the "zombie email" supposedly authored by MG, two of the twelve LDS apostles were deemed zombies by Chad.

I'll be on the look-out for Maroni if I do a drive-by.
Joseph Smith's birthplace is 45 min north of where I live.
Just looked and the nearest temple to me is outside of Boston Ma.

JS Jr's Birthplace.
Quite understated, all considered.

I'm stunned that a juror could think that, if LVD never actually said the word 'comspiracy', she couldn't be guilty of it. Deliberation calls for critical thinking, the capacity to connect dots, inference.

Why was AlexC even at LVD's house?

LVD, the instigator of the conflict, playing Keep Away with CV's phone.

Staged bat, 47 minute delay, phone calls between AlexC and LVD.

Dark, light, Zombies, Ned -- what was all that if not code?

That LVD was chatty and flirty and nonchalant and not surprised that CV was dead, how does that go unnoticed?

That LVD couldn't get CV cremated fast enough and shipped by FedEx fast enough means nothing? While speed-dailing his life insurance agent?

Only to remarry two seconds later?

Not only do the dots connect up, they spell out LORI IS GUILTY.

It's like the murder for hires that get caught on hidden tape. They always think that if they don't utter the words "murder" or "kill", they won't get caught. Like no one can figure out their intentions.

"I will be like Nephi." She thought that nobody would figure out the meaning. Similar with her talk about zs (zombies). She even said to Colby, trying to distance herself from her beliefs: "Nowhere in discovery have I used the word zombie."

Was this Nov 2020 recording entered as evidence in her last trial?

"I would go through the scriptures and find all the things,” Daybell said. “If he comes against you once, if he comes against you twice, if he comes against you three times, then you can kill him. It says it in the scriptures.”

Very interesting read on the angel Maroni and how he got to go from an angel, to Nephi and then to Maroni.
He supposedly was a pre-Columbian warrior who buried the Golden Plates.

This made me chuckle, then chuckle some more.

Theorized origin of the name

[edit]
"Commenting on the name of the angel Moroni, Grant H. Palmer speculates that Smith had read of the city Moroni on the island Comoros from either a map or tales of Captain William Kidd, popular at the time.<a
According to Latter-day Saint scholar Hugh Nibley, the use of "mor" in the Book of Mormon is an Egyptian word, and means "beloved, good, everything nice and desirable."

IIRC, the recording is from 2018.

Just in case anyone is wondering, those words are not found in the scriptures. The wording in the scripture is something along the lines of "Thou shalt not kill."
