*Jury Questionnaires Hearing (Boudreaux) (@ 10am AZT) – AZ – Brandon Boudreaux (34/now 40) attempted murder on Oct. 2, 2019 in Gilbert, AZ. *Lori Norene Vallow (46 @ time of crime/49/now 51) indicted (2/24/22), charged & arraigned (12/7/23) with 1 count of 1st degree premeditated attempted murder. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. Maricopa County
Jury selection to begin on 5/30/25. [Jury: 12 jurors & 4 alternates]
Trial set to begin on 6/2/25.

5/12/25 Docket updates: Brandon: Order entered by Court [State]. Pro per Motion/Notice/Mail re Motion for no restraint in trial filed by Daybell. Motion for time to consult with advisory counsel & team during trial by Daybell [granted for lunch recess only]. 5/13/25 Docket updates: Non-party Maricopa County Sheriff Jerry Sheridan's response to defendant's motion for time to consult with advisory counsel & team during trial. Defendant's supplement Rule 15.2 notice of defenses & disclosure.
5/14/25 Update: Brandon: Daybell filed motions for time to consult with her defense team during trial. She would like the lunch recess & other breaks for access to counsel, paralegal & her investigator throughout the day. Judge Beresky allows time during lunch recess. Going over amended request for Rule 609. State wants to bring up the last conviction regarding Charles' murder. Judge wants to table this subject for now. DA Kay sys that Daybell has 2 expert witnesses listed. Bereksy asks if Dworkin ever finished his report. Kay said she has received nothing. Beresky received Daybell's supplemental witness list with Melanie Gibb & Zulema Pastenses besides expert witnesses & Det. Nathan Moffatt in Chandler. Daybell says Judge has shown bias, denying all her motions. Asks that he recuse himself. Judge says NO-Denied! Bereksy will get copies of the questionnaire to the defense. Next hearing on jury questionnaires on 5/29/25 @ 1pm. Jury will be 12 jurors & 4 alternates.

5/25/25 Docket update: Brandon: Motion to disqualify Judge Beresky filed by Daybell. She claims he has violated code of judicial conduct, manifesting bias & can’t be impartial on her case. She also says the speedy trial rule has been violated. See posts #131 & #133, page 7, thread #5 for more info. 5/26/25 Docket update: State's response to Defendant's Motion to Disqualify Judge. Prosecutor Treena Kay responds to motion to disqualify Beresky, saying the judge gave legal reasons for declining Daybell’s motions and there was no prejudice against her. Kay says LVD has not established judicial bias, appearance of bias or fundamental error. See post #140, page 7, thread #5 for more info.
AZ – Charles Vallow (62) shot & killed on July 11, 2019 in Chandler, AZ. *Lori Norene Daybell-Vallow - Trial of Charles began on 4/7/25 & ended 4/22/25 with GUILTY of all charges. Will be sentenced after Boudreaux trial.
ID – Vallow found guilty of all charges & sentenced to 3 consecutive life sentences without parole on 7/31/23.
