Wait until there's a verdict and these jurors learn that LD got her degree in juris imprudence (see what I did there?) from the pile up of trials. Conspiracy to murder magnet. Not exactly a coveted resume. It's like she's trying to get the other cases mentioned here.
I'm glad Lori can find humor in her murder trials.[…]
The third day of testimony in Lori Vallow Daybell's attempted murder trial opened with an almost hour-long sidebar conference hidden from the public and cameras.
Daybell entered court on June 9 carrying an armful of files and holding a surgical mask in her hands.
Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Justin Beresky briefly opened the trial and then paused.
“I think that because of the number of people I need to talk with, I’m going to do a sidebar up here,” he said, gesturing to the bench.
After a brief exchange with attorneys, he ordered the courtroom to be cleared. Members of the public and media were escorted out as the parties met for nearly an hour.
When the trial resumed, Beresky apologized to the jury and said the delay was no one’s fault. He asked jurors not to speculate about it.
Testimony began with witnesses taken out of order.
Detective Ryan Pillar had not finished giving testimony during the last trial date, but because of delays early in the trial, witnesses who could be present on June 9 would be given priority.

Miller also said there are ways to defeat the cameras, including removing a plate or tailgating.
Daybell reacted audibly, saying “Hm” and “Interesting.”
Beresky instructed the jury to disregard the noise the defendant made, stating it was considered commentary.
Daybell laughed at that.

You’re very welcome!Cindizzi, thank you for all the posts. I can’t bring myself to watch this case, especially after watching the Karen Read case today.
If you'd like to hear/see again why and how it came to LD getting thrown out of the courtroom.
