Maybe there needs to be a new or different classification: List killers. They have a list of people to get rid of and methodically work their way down the list. And all the people on the list are known to them. IDK- serial killers to me are all about the ACT of killing, while Lori and Chad (and Melani?) are not about the act but rather about the victims being an obstruction to them in some manner?

Something about serial killing implies a lack of familiarity.

LD could be called a familial serial killer, but I agree, it's targeted. Hit listed. Thst makes it different. Up close and personal.

Family annihilator. Just not all at once.

I can only hope that her self appointed, self importance is stripped from her in prison.

She's an executioner. Nothing terribly unique about her.

A common criminal.

Agree. I am concerned about her potential influence "preaching" to others. I just hope the prisoners are smart enough to see through her delusions and shut her down.

"Lunceford serves as the Relief Society president at the prison. In Latter-day Saint congregations, Relief Society is a class for women 18 and up. Lunceford would coordinate this class in individual units immediately following services and help with activities for the inmates throughout the week.

This could get real dicey for the prison when it comes to LD.

Good idea and term.

Yes, and Lori already sees herself as the leader among the prisoners - she's the peppy ray of sunshine leading exercises, likely "teaching" about legal issues, perhaps doing haircare. And she loves to preach.

The prisoners are a vulnerable group and she has already started to manipulate them, imo, by stating their cases as "family tragedies." She will exploit their ideas that they are victims of circumstances, not actually criminals.

My hope is that she THINKS she is influential in the population but won't actually be. Fingers crossed.

Serial killers and family annihilators all lack empathy. Somehow I don't imagine Lori sitting in her cell and feeling remorse for what she had done, nor sparing a thought for her victims. Because she couldn't get away with her crimes, she claims a conspiracy against her. She only cares about herself and Chad. Everyone else is expendable to her and used as a tool to get what she wants.
Lori's main motive was money. Serial killers usually kill for pleasure.

Anyone have insights on her attraction to Chad? I know he was an author in a genre she liked, but....come on. Chad?

I can't figure that out - would love to hear if anyone has ideas about it. Would she eventually have outgrown that attraction, especially since he doesn't have money?

Yesterday she was preaching to the court how all inmates (presumably her followers, whom she calls warriors), not just her, will be set free by divine intervention, and how they will turn their lives around. "Miracles will happen." She's certainly positioning herself as a religious leader.

Chad, a prophet and a "famous" author, gave her validation - an illusion that her life was important, by making her a co-leader of his religious group. They are both manipulators. She is still operating under the same premise, predicting their eventual victory.

I believe that Lori will continue to recruit followers for she and Chad's cult.

I agree but serial killers sometimes study their victims first.

Most of BK’s victims were on his daily dog catcher route. He studied them and even had decided how to get into their homes. One was his close neighbor.

He wasn’t Gods Prophet.
He was a false prophet. Used it to get into bed with dumb women.

A podcaster/youtuber recently visited Chad's prison (due to Kohberger's case) and apparently death row inmates are allowed to socialize within their group and have visitors. He mentioned a few things about Chad. I'm not sure if he has it worse than Lori.

Some post-sentencing docs have been filed. Below are only for Brandon's case, but the same are filed in Charles's case.

And here are 3 of them. Can't access the PSR which is the one I would most like to see, but maybe somebody in media will get it.
