That sigh from Lori, when Judge asks her if she has any cross for Hermosillo and she says no... <chef's kiss!>;)

I still think if there’s a juror who doesn’t know what we know, he/she will wonder why Melanie and Chad weren’t also charged. This trial has made Melanie look worse than Lori.

Is that even possible? Did I just say that??

If the prosecution loses this case I will be furious. BB deserves justice.

She was sighing a LOT today. Not looking very innocent and loving now, are we? And what was with all the objections? She was like a kid who learned a bunch of new words ("foundation..." "relevance...") and wanted to try them out.

I saw a suggestion somewhere that when you have a truly damaging witness, get them off the stand as soon as possible.

However, I suspect that 1) Lori is afraid of Hermosillo and 2) she is as tired of this trial as everyone else.

I seriously wonder if Lori will take the stand. In her interview after the guilty verdict for murdering Charles with media reporter Brianna (forgive me if I got her name wrong), she seemed like she was teasing her ‘final statement’ during this trial.

She sighs all the time like as if she's so put out just being there.

You don't have to believe there, Lori. Just plead guilty!

I think she's exhausted....largely because she now thinks she's going to lose this trial. That's tough for a narcissist. She bit off more than she could chew.

In her opening statement it seemed that her strategy was to say:

- Brandon might have faked the shooting. But during cross, Lori found out that her opening statement that Brandon had a firearm was incorrect.
- there was no crime as no one saw it and no one was hurt. Well, the prosecution is bringing the receipts (literally). They have made it undeniable that Alex went to Arizona to kill Brandon. So there WAS an attempted murder.
- even if someone shot at Brandon, Lori wasn't involved. But prosecution has the receipts and video that Lori took to rear tire and bench seat to the storage unit. And then helped Alex pick it up once he was back from Arizona. Lori and Alex both bought burner phones and Lori tried to set up an alibi for Alex by calling his phone that he left at her place.

She's done and she knows it.

More motions to dismiss, and to remove judge. This time Judge Green. Lol.

That list of zombies is getting so long by now.

I think this trial has been very bad for Melani. Someone else made this point a number of pages back and I am sorry I've lost track of who you are! Please speak up to take credit where credit is due!

The "optics" of Melani going to Idaho and spending the weekend before the shooting with Lori and Alex and also being the one to share his address with them is certainly damning. And the timing of the shooting was immediately after her normal custody time to take the kids (i.e. Wednesday), so it wouldn't disrupt the kids routine too much if Dad just 'happened to be murdered', is highly suspect.

I hope beyond hope that they charge Melani after the successful prosecution of Lori in this case! (You can see that I am already presuming that the jury will return a guilty verdict. I will be shocked and disappointed if they don't!)

Nate Eaton (East Idaho News) seems to think that the jury is engag

ed (taking notes and such) which I have be believe is good news for the prosecution.

The one time I was on a jury for a trial was a civil case. The plaintiff provided about a day's worth of testimony. The defense provided five f**king days of testimony. The first five days I wrote voluminous notes and wrote juror's questions for nearly every witness. I was all in. (I was such a nerd.) The last day I was done, wrote no notes, and just zoned. I was done and so were most of my fellow jurors. After a few hours of deliberation, we found for the defense. (We had one hold-out who thought something was hinky, but wasn't willing to award damages even if we all agreed with her.)

Prosecution has been very strong. Even if Lori had defence lawyers, they would not have been able to do much IMO

I am so glad this is almost over. I am still nervous about the jury’s decision. They don’t know what we know. They must be wondering where Melanie and Chad are.
When Melanie is charged, I hope Melani Gibb and Zulema are also charged for conspiracy in the deaths of Charles, Tylee, and JJ. They knew!

I'm surprised she didn't lean more into this argument and throw AC under the bus, rather than trying (very weakly) to argue that the whole thing was a setup and that BB was framing her. I think the jury would have been more likely to believe that, especially if you could show that AC was protective of MP and had some reason to be angry at BB. Show that *he* had some sort of personal motive, and it'd be easier to believe that she was just an innocent bystander who didn't realize what he was doing with the Jeep.
