I'm really surprised they don't have video of LD buying the trac-phone at the Walmarts. Even if she paid cash, they know what date and time she was there.

I keep saying it -- Walmart should keep all its crime-y stuff in one aisle. And then livestream it straight to LE. For everyone's convenience.

I wonder what the jurors' impression of her is without knowing about her crazy beliefs (let alone her criminal history). They probably find her defense tactic weird.

I agree. But, what the jury heard was her whining and manipulating. I think that says volumes to the jury. She is like a 5 year old who wants her way. IMHO, she exudes guilt. She never asked any questions to any witness that refuted the state's witness testimony. She even further softened any idea that LE was against her family when PIllar suggested a lawyer to her niece. Her shameless attempt to get BB on the dancing video as a gay man was a waste of time when she could have been proving her non-involvement. She provided nothing to the "innocent" narrative but often struck home the state's testimony-- gun shot residue, staying with JEEP color but denying causing the state to repeat again and again the license plate evidence. Ugh. She must be beside herself to know another conviction may be on the way for her. But, now she will be able to focus on her appeal in Idaho....She will remain in the news if it kills all of us.

In watching back the testimony today, did I see it right that LD was asked if she had objections to Ballance's report and she did not answer? Wow. The judge must really be trying to hold back because she is just pushing and pushing him.

Perhaps she was sulking. Or perhaps she was so close to a fit of narcissistic rage that she couldn't answer. She seems to grasp that acting unhinged in front of the jury will not help her case.

Did Treena mention multiple investigations? Can Melani be charged for more than just Brandon's case? With Chad's and Lori's convictions, she probably doesn't have any bargaining chips left. Did she have immunity in the first place?

It was never reported whether she has immunity. If she does, maybe it's just for Idaho. I would imagine the Brandon shooting would be the best case against her.

However, I suspect that Brandon is not eager to prosecute her. He is far too forgiving, if so.

Even if she did not know ahead of time, she would have had to put it together afterward. She was talking to Alex that morning.

And then, she doesn't help Brandon and the police after, she instead goes and moves up to Idaho to be with the killers.

She's going to have some explaining to do when her kids are old enough to figure this out.

Her defiant behavior should be very telling to the jury. She constantly defied the ruling on testifying. She knew it was not allowed, because she did the same thing in the last trial. She showed she thinks rules don't apply to her.
