This is why I didn't understand why people were so upset that the Idaho Slasher didn't speak about his crimes at his sentencing. What could he say?

Lori is a lying liar who lies. She has built an elaborate fantasy about how she is a goddess who is charged with ushering people who have gone dark into a better world where they will be happy. There is very little overlap between her fantasy and what most of us view as consensus reality: however, there is enough overlap that she could still be held responsible for her crimes. (My opinion only, of course.)
