I think the celebrations over LVD being her own attorney from Kay and everyone else are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy premature. It's fun to imagine how much crazy we would see in the show that would result, of course -- what a gift for our amusement!!

But that's not really a process for justice, and I can't imagine any judge letting her do that, even if she wants to. She is so utterly incapable, and probably certifiably insane on top of that.

Agreed. I bet KW also knows it’s a long shot or improbable but just just couldn’t contain her glee at the idea of being questioned in a Court of law by the demented imo defendant.

Actually the judge might- with the condition that an actual lawyer be present to advise her and be ready to stand by on backup.

whether she represents herself or not, based upon her previous lies, I fully expect her defence to be that Tylee killed Charles and masterminded the attack on Brandon
she disgusts me

Oh, please do, Lori. PLEASE take those meds and get that counseling so you can get you competency declared. PLEASE at least make a few filings and ONE official in-person court appearance pro se before inevitably seeking different counsel.

It would be most entertaining and definitely wouldn't make people question your previous mental health "issues." I'm sure that, while infuriating and stressful, it would also be most entertaining to various parties involved (i.e. Kay Woodcock who has already expressed her interest). MOO.

Having a hard time following it all, but from what I can gather it sounds like Lori wants to have her cake and eat it too. She doesn't want a competency hearing - just take her word for it, but wants to represent herself? Wants a one year delay but doesn't. Sounds like alot of game playing to me to avoid punishment for as long as possible.
This explains it better than that Twitter/X thread:

Thank you so much for the update. I guess Lori Vallow doesn't think Orange is her color.
