I am really puzzled! Total decomposition just seems too soon. Something is screwy, IMO.

Rest in peace ~ sweet baby Sylar ~

Just saw this on JVM. Confused here. Skeletal remains in just sixteen days?

My heart breaks once again. Soar with the angels, little one. Another gone too soon.

It could just be a matter of reporting, decomposed body, skeletal remains, etc.

I agree with you LaLaw, it has been sixteen days since he was last seen. :waitasec:

Why God ?

I just heard about Sylar, or that the remains are believed to be Sylar. Would the remains already have been skeletonized?

ETA: He was last seen on July 25th. Just seems to soon for total decomposition.

RIP, Sylar.

With the heat and humidity in AZ it's quite possible he could be partially skeletal by now. jmo

It could also just be lousy reporting. Using "skeleton" instead of badly decomposed for shock value.

I really hate talking about a baby or child or anyone for that matter such as this. Makes me so sad.

Rest in peace little dude. :(

With the heat here, decomposition would set in fast, but there would still be bone marrow, skin tissue at this point to test for drugs and other stuff.

Just on tv they showed the area where Sylar was found and it was a steep looking wash. Bigger than the picture I posted.

Thanks, sarx, I know that there is just bad reporting sometimes. IF the body IS skeletonized, then there is something wrong here.

NG is reporting on it now.

A wash is a shallow stream, remains may have been put at the bottom of the wash by flash flooding.A wash looks like a ditch, but with really hard fast rains the wash fills up.Over the weekend very heavy rains in that area.

The weather is very extreme there. Hotter than hell. he could definitely be totally decomposed by now.
Poor baby.

Thanks, Dr. Know. I do not think I can look now. I just finished dinner.

* I am still calling foul on this one.

  • #419
Sadly, with the heat in AZ and the coupled with turbulent waters of flash flooding it is quite possible for the body to be not much more than skeleton, even in this short amount of time. These are some pretty extreme conditions we're talking about.

Don't blame you Lalaw. I too feel foul play.
